2 days ago I used it and there was malware in the backup so we lost access to the site, the site was fixed completely,
I made some changes to it and saved a backup – the WordPress 6.0 update caused an error so I restored the backup to fix it.
The restored backup removed all plugins from the website and ruined the site design??
With the error: “the File was found, “but has a different size (—-) from what was expected (—-) – it may be corrupt.”
Why is this happening?
The backup is meant to be a safe copy of the site that should be simple to restore when there are issues.
Please help!
]]>I tried renaming the plugins folder in wp-content/themes/plugins and then I renamed the plugins folder in wp-content/themes/dailynews/plugins.
I am able to get into the WordPress dashboard, but the plugins are not showing up at all. The home page is not loading correctly.
At this point, what can I do?
The site is located at:
]]>I’m on the latest 4.3.1, all plugins were working fine before this, and the SumoMe plugin had over 20,000 installs and is very popular and was supposed to be verified for my version. The only other thing I can think of that might have caused it was when I added a html widget for bidvertiser and started running from them. The site was running fine after that and ads were running smooth so I don’t think that’s what it was.
]]>I’ve google this problem and still not found the answer, please help me!
I’ve assumed that maybe this happened cause i using free wordpress? CMIIW
Thanks for attention!
]]>I changed users and took 2 of them away as they dont work with us anymore and I dont have their paswords, so I putted up one user and that is admin and with new password.
I have been sitting with one.com support in this matter for many hours 10 hours atleast! but this dont still work,
I know also that the left hand side in wordpress administration dont look as on my other sites, its plenty of things that are missing , tools missing, no widgets, no place to change theme, plenty of sites are missing..

What can I do?
]]>I’ve disabled all the plugins except Gantry which is required for the Theme to work previously and lost even more dashboard items. I had previously deleted All in One WordPress Security which was causing issues with the site but worked fine once I deleted it.
I’ve deleted and replace wp-admin and wp-includes with no changes to the site.
I have no way to change templates as some posts suggest because I don’t have access too. This happened randomly without any changes to the site or with any obvious hacking attempts. I even created a new user name with admin rights to rule out that.
Please help as this is a production site.
