WordPress update crashes my site, restore fine but wants to update WP again

Dears,

I made a backup with the plugin, after i upgraded to WP 6.5.5, then my site crashed. Main page is fine, but all subpages gone. Then i restored everything with this plugin, it going fine, page is fine now, but at the end of the plugin restore it asks for update WP version again, the admin page doesn’t loading in until i click on this, of course then the site chrashes again so i am in a loop.

What is happening? Why this plugin not let ma use old WP anymore?

Please help!!!

I used Parent Theme “WP Tour Package” by Rara Themes for my small tour business. It’s a child theme of “Travel Agency”. They require this plugin to function…and what they don’t make clear is to have anything function properly, even change a page header, you must purchase for $400 PER YEAR the “Travel Agency” plugin. Since I use a 3rd party booking system, I have no need for all but one feature in this very expensive plugin. Also upsetting is the journey begins with WP Tour Package…for tour companies…but ends with this plugin…for trips and travel agencies. My primary page header is “Archives: Trips”. No relevance and no ability to change…unless I pay the $400 per year. I reached out for support on some issues and over the span of a week, they did respond but repeated back to me what I asked them as their response. I cannot recommend this at all unless you’re a high volume corporate travel agency (but then why would you be using a free WP theme to begin with??). Horrible. Now I have to wait until peak season is over, find a new theme and completely rebuild everything

Code Snippets plugin always redirecting to WP login page when adding a new Code.

When adding a new snippet, it redirecting to wordpress login page everytime, even after login. I am facing it from one day. I also have updated to recent version of Code Snippet plugin. Still it redirecting me to login page.

Error when retrieving sitemaps

Hi,

I am trying to retrieve sitemaps for new site using this plugin. Every time I do, I get this error – “error on line 2 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document”

I have reinstalled a number of times now with no luck. Can you please advise how to correct this. Never had this issue before.

Cannot get rid of “You have saved license code….” nag box

Both the “click here” and “install addons” buttons go to error message, “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

Also, cannot get Social Media icons to stay lined up vertically. Emailed support and never heard back. 3 icons and they go from horizontal to a pyramid depending on screen width. Same on mobile.

Tired of all the hoops I have to jump through to get this work.

Plugins Fail to Update

I have been having a strange problem lately. Everytime I go to update any plugin, I get the error message, “Update Failed: Plugin update failed.” But when I refresh the plugins page after the failed update, it shows all of my plugins as being fine and seemingly up to date. I don’t have any problems installing plugins.

Any ideas as to why this is happening and how to fix it?

I have 4.3.1 fresh installed and I cant install any of the plugins of the wordpress repository. I now that I can do it manually via ftp but I want to fix the web interface asap. I tried changing ownership and chmoding of several folders with the same results. Im using Centos with apache 2.2 and php 5.5, not using suphp just the default phpsuexec.

I go to add new plugin I select for example Theme Check and click install now I got this error (translated from spanish version)

The files cant be copied. You have to free up some disk space.

I have free space in the domain 300mb only used 90mb.

The weird thing that when I try to update the wordpress a temp folder is created at wp-content/upgrades but all the files in it are 0 bytes.

Is there a ownership chmod issue? I dont know what else to do.

New WPScope Plugin not playing nice with WF

Just installed a new plugin, set it up and it’s not working properly. I’ve reviewed the settings in it and it appears all the API’s, keys and secrets have been properly set up and established in order for the plugin to operate…

But I’m getting an alert from Wordfence:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home1/spiceof1/public_html/cnstarzentertainment/wp-content/

(Blink alert under the Live Scan heading, and prior had said it thought the plug in was a virus, which I told it to ignore).

So, help would be appreciated.

BTW, thanks for this security plugin. Had a hacker last week and (after 170 attempts/email alerts to login under false credentials) I made a new login page to throw him out. I felt so smart.
