Schedules & Scoreboards – Is it possible to list Game Title?

Is it possible to list Game Title? I am running into a situation where many high school games are tournament based with multiple teams… and would prefer to list the name of the Tournament etc. or a playoff situation, where on particular school hosts, but you dont know opponents.. so I would like to be able to show “Playoff – First Round” etc as I have input in the back end Title area.

Hi, we are having a basketball tournament reaching its end. There were 8 teams divided into 2 groups of 4. The best two were supposed to advance into the playoffs which would be composed of semifinals and then the final. To do so, I added a tournament. It worked but I have two issues;

1- The league tables are still being automatically updated after the tournament game. I don’t want that to happen, since the playoff game has nothing to do with the league table.

2- Is there any way to change the home page widget I put showing the league tables to show the playoffs chart instead?

Playoffs with Best-Of mode

I am interested in wordpress for using it for an ice hockey league. I have already read that setting up playoffs are possible in the tournament section of the pro version. I was wondering if it is also possible to set up a best-of mode in the tournament section? That means for example in a best of three mode, that the team which has 2 wins first against the other one in the quarter finals gets to the semi finals.

Options for playoffs & Goal Scorer Leader Board

Hello,

I am looking for someone that can help modify this software to easily display a player leader board for goals scored, goalie shut outs etc.

I would like to simply enter all the player’s names, team they play for and jersey number. After each game I would like to be able to just enter the number of goals (or shut outs for goalie’s) they scored and have the plugin automatically move the players up or down in the rankings based on the number of goals scored.

Also there seems to be no manual option for a playoff schedule. I usually divide my league up into 2 groups and manually input who plays who. In my league everyone plays right until the end regardless of if they are out of the playoffs or not.

There seems not to be a way to manually enter teams in a playoff schedule, and add headings like Division A “Semi Final Game” etc.

An example is here, but it’s just cut and paste from excell, which is ok but doesn’t look as good as league manager.

Groups and Playoffs

Hi there,

I am planning on using this plugin to run a league on my site. So far so good…

I was just wondering if I could do the following and how to do it:

– I will have 4 groups with 4 teams in each
– Each team will play 1 match against each team on their group
– After all matchs on all groups I want the top 2 teams on each group to advance to the playoffs

Can I do that? How should I configure the league to do it? Not sure how to create the playoff really…
