I’ve worked out using additional Outcomes and equations in the Configure->Table Columns (for League Table) area to score the matches with points for attendance on a given night, winning bracket level matches within a game, points for winning the game brackets entirely, etc. And the Standings works great.
But from this setup I have a few quirks that I’ve not been able to work out, and will ask separate questions as per the advice I’ve seen trying to find prior questions in this forum.
I’d like for players to view their Player page and see their statistics from each season that are used in the Standings (nights attended, games played, wins, etc.). But in the Player Page, the Player Statistics table is empty. Looking at Configure->Player Statistics, Settings->Players, player-statistics.php, player-statistics-league.php, etc. and playing around with adding players to teams and using Team-vs-Team Matches, it seems that the statistics for a player will only show if a player is added to a team for a season, and needs to also have a Team selected in the Statistics area of a Player configuration.
Is this true? Will this section only include statistics for matches, where a players is added to a team and the team selected in the Player configuration?
I cannot use Teams since the pairings change each match, so points accrual needs to be on a player basis, requiring Player-vs-Player Matches. And adding duplicate Team-vs-Team Matches with unique Teams for each player combination, not shown in the Player-vs-Player League Table, as a solution then makes the Events list below the Player Statistics area in the Player Page show duplicate matches.
So is there a mechanism to show the Player Statistics section, grouped by season, for all matches, regardless of the type, in that section? Or would that only be possible by customizing the Player Class and player-statistics.php, player-statistics-league.php files?
Thanks.
]]>During each fixture, 7 players from the home team play 1 on 1 matches against 7 players from the away team. These 7 matches are each best of 5 legs, and any player winning their game 3-0, 3-1, or 3-2 earns a point overall for their team.
In each leg, both players start with 501 points and they take turns throwing three darts, each time reducing their score by the amount they scored. A leg is won when a player reduces their score to zero by hitting a double (the outer ring on a dartboard).
I’ve set up Sportspress to record various player statistics for each match that each player takes part in:
The last two stats are where I’m having issues. The issue is, when I make them ‘visible’ it displays an overall total in the player lists. This is fine for the other stats – legs for and against, 100 or 180 scores, however on these, I’d like LD to show that players’ Least Darts across all games, so effectively something like min($pp_leastdarts), likewise for HF – Id want this to be that players highest finish so again, something like max($pp_highfinish). Is this possible? I’m happy to give code amendments a try, if I’m pointed in the right direction but am just hoping I’ve missed something simple!
Also is there an easy way to split/format a team vs team event into 7 individual matches? At present im using player order/number to show who played who, but i cant show a players opponent in historic stats for example – It looks like Id have to do it as another player perf field..
Thanks in advance for any help!

When I enter stats for the second team, I lose there data after I update the page. Here are before and after screenshots.
Before – https://mcpreps.site/football/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/10/before.png
After – https://mcpreps.site/football/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/10/after.png
Is there a way that I can solve this issue so I do not have to use a separate plugin for stats?
]]>In other words, instead of one row saying they played two games averaging 35.5 points a game, I would like to be able to show:
Game 1 – 35 points (+ other Game 1 stats)
Game 2 – 36 points (+ other Game 2 stats)
]]>I’m having issues with displaying player statistics properly on the player pages.
Statistics are showing up as normal in the player lists, but the same stats is not showing up on the player pages, at least not when the automated stats are set to “offence->defense” or “defense->offence”. Choosing “combined” will display the stats, but also the columns that are not relevant for that player position.
I have checked that the stats are properly set inside “configure”, with relevant stats set to either offense and defense. I have also checked that the correct season is chosen.
See below player as an example:
The goaltender Andreas Arvidsson (#1 rank), has stats for the one game he’s played so far in this season.
/statistik/malvakter/
But on his player profile, it is just blank:
/player/andreas-arvidsson/
Anyone have any idea how to solve this?
]]>I am using sportspress with the extension SportsPress for Basketball.
When I add a game, all the players that I set as bench lose that game in the players statistics.
The game does not appear neither with the ecuation item eventsattended nor eventsplayed. It is like the player have never been on the game.

For example: every match got a headshot%. List total average headshot% – Top players for Headshot.
Do you understand me?

I’m always upgrading the plugin to the latest version, right now I’m using SportsPress Version 2.6.1.
I hope you can help me solving my issue and please let me know if you need further informations.

]]>I’m currently working on my roster team (for a soccer team).
I have issues trying to customize each statistic on each player. It’s not about the numbers, it’s about the kind of viewable statistics themselves.
When i’m in front of the roster block with all my team, if i click on one of my player, they all have the same statistics on which they can be evaluated on. I need to change this cause a statistic about goalkeeper saves, for example, on a striker profile is irrelevant and vice versa if my goalkeeper profile shows how much goals he scored in a whole season (unless he’s Jose Luis Chilavert, who he’s not :)).
Can you help me out on this ?
Thanks a lot,
Best regards.
