I recently installed Lucky Orange on my site and have been running it for a few days, it’s been great. The visitor playback is something I never knew I needed until I had it. That feature alone is worth trying this visitor tracker. They also have really good support and documentation. Learning the platform and everything I could do only took me about a day.

audio download/play back issues

On a phone, downloading an MP3 file from the store does not hand off properly to the phone’s audio player. I discovered one workaround: if I zip the file, then the unzipping process allows the mp3 file to be played. Note the first two items on this page for contrast.

no audio playing in video intro video

I have audio embedded into the intro video that opens our site. However, the audio doesn’t play when the site is visited, just the video. It’s a quick 8 second video but there is audio in the native file. I’ve uploaded this file to Vimeo and copied the link in wordpress. Can you help troubleshoot why this is happening? Thank you!

The video works fine on the link and Roku sees and ingests but it does not want to playback curious what might be the problem

Youtube quality playback setting

Hello,
I purchased the PRO version but i don’t see the option to change the playback quality for Youtube videos, for example, 720p, 1080p, 1440p, 4K.

Right now it automatically sets it at 480p i believe.

1) Does the free or Pro version have any inbuilt statistics tracking?
2) If using this to play a Youtube video, do the number of plays get tracked by Youtube, so that I can see my total play stats in my Youtube admin area?

Videos don’t play in Firefox on Mac

Hi Videopack people.

A HUGE thanks for creating an amazing plugin. Unlike most other video plugins your plugin is easy to use (!) and easy to customize with a bit of CSS.

MY PROBLEM:
In Firefox on Mac I’m having some problems though.
Sometimes the videos don’t play.

– I’ve noticed that the videos that don’t play all have the classes vjs-paused and video_kgvid_0-dimensions.
– And the ones that DO PLAY have the video_kgvid_1-dimensions, vjs-has-started and vjs-playing.

(FYI the videos play smoothly Chrome & Safari on Mac and iPhone, and also on Firefox on mobile)

How can I provide index points within a video in the player, to jump the playhead to a specific timecode?
I want to be able to provide access to specific points within the video, the way you can do on YouTube to jump to specific topics with a link.
