Recommended Plugins needed?

Nice theme… it says it needs four plugins – jetpack, pixelgrade assistant, gridable and customify.

Of these, are all mandatory? I do not need the social share or comment form feature of jetpack.. and I do not need to make grids in content. same way, my site is old so I do not need to import data from assistant plugin or connect to your site for support… only plugin that makes sense is customify for customization in Theme Customizer.

Do you really require Jetpack for some specific feature of the theme that I missed other than social share?

This seemed to be a theme with such potential… really great design, typography, everything. Sadly, it is just not worth the trouble.

– No compatibility with 90% of the plugins, including Everest Forms, Events Calendar, and more.
– Forces you to install a separate plugin for customization, still doesn’t let you change the font.

Wish I could give it zero stars.

I actually sent this as an email to the Pixelgrade team after some support help, as we were discussing their motivation for all the work they do. I was going to write a separate review, but it makes just as much sense to post my note instead. Hope it helps if you’re considering this particular theme, or another from this company:

“I searched for months for a theme that would work for my site. I had a structure and a vision in mind…multiple departments…portal-like home page…minimalist design…prominent images…lots of white space…unconventional appearance…

I downloaded countless things, installed them, played around with them, started writing and gathering content, set it all aside for awhile, knew it wasn’t right and went back to the drawing board. This cycle has been happening for longer than I can remember.

On its most recent iteration, I changed some of my search criteria and lo and behold, I stumbled upon Gema. I was floored! It was almost exactly the embodiment of the vision I’d been trying to realize. I installed it, took a first look, and I knew- the search was over. This was the aesthetic that could properly represent my endeavor. Beautiful

Version 1.4.1 update cause novablock not to collapse on mobile view

Version 1.4.1 add “novablocks-u-content-align” class to div.novablocks-media__layout. With this additional class, the block did not collapse on mobile view. This is tested on a clean install of Rosa2 Lite theme with fresh content import via Pixelgrade plugin. Is was ok on previous version of NovaBlock plugin.

WP update Incompatibility

It looks like with the most recent version of WP, the plug-in no longer works. Any thoughts besides restoring to a previous version of WP?

404 error on customize when active

I bought the Rosa template from pixelgrade and I’m trying to make this work without success.

When using the Customize tab to edit theme options I get a 404 error in the right part of the window?(live preview) and options doesn’t save.

I narrowed the issue down to this plugin, tried without anyother plugin and with a default theme and I’m still getting a 404.

I even tried the plugin on different websites of mine and I got the same 404 all the time.
