Disabling piwik device-detector

Hi,

I’m using Matomo on my website for analytics, but am having issues with it, since i started using the plugin podlove publisher.
Whenever I try to visit the Matomo-Admin-Dashboard, I’m getting an Error-Page: Cache not supported.
As I’ve found out, podlove- is causing this because of some function named ‘device-detector’ from piwik (which is now named matomo). I was wondering if there was a workaround to force-use matomos device-detector or maybe a way to disable the device-detector feature altogether.

Lots of issues.

Main issue is no data showing in wordpress.

Also zero support even if you buy their packages. We spend close to $2000 and no replies.

Based on many posts, this appears to be a bug in plugin.

Analtyics in self hosted install, not in WordPress

Seeing alot of errors with self hosted and wordpress.

Our settings are correct and there is data in our install for hte website.

No date in wp dashboard. Def a matomo bug.

Wish they would get this fixed.

Integrate non-GA eCommerce Tracking

Hi!

We use Piwik analytics platform for user tracking on our site. Now I’d like to integrate eCommerce related events as well.

On Piwik it’s quite clearly put, how the integration should be made JS-code wise: https://help.piwik.pro/support/getting-started/track-ecommerce/

E.g.
_paq.push(['addEcommerceItem',productSKU, productName, productCategory, price, quantity]);

I’ve checked WooCommerce settings, the documentation and searched plugins. But I can’t seem to find a straight forward way to get this done. The documentation only covers Google and Firebase analytics integration.

I hope I don’t have to code a custom plugin for that.

WP-Piwik Settings on Multisite pages doesn’t appear

The settings of this plugin doesn’t appear on my Multisite pages under settings or inside the plugins page after the view details. When on an individual WordPress install (not multisite), it appears.

The link is like this on single WP install: example.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wp-piwik%2Fclasses%2FWP_Piwik.php

If I use the same link on my: multisite.com/site/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wp-piwik%2Fclasses%2FWP_Piwik.php

It would throw a WP error Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

I’m sure that I’m a Super Admin on those sites.

It wasn’t like this before. Around 1-2 week ago, I can still see the settings page.

The reason I want to go to the settings page is that I want to fix the connect To Matomo URL because I’m getting 0 stats on some of my pages. Even the ones that I can get stats on, I still cannot see the settings page. I cannot see the settings page on all of my multisite pages.

Results for sub-table not displayed

In April 2021, I could pull page hits on sub-pages. Since then, I can only see hits at the top level. No changes have been made in the settings for the plugin (WP-Matomo Integration v1.0.24). The plugin and Matomo site are configured correctly. Any suggestions?

Matomo (former Piwik) is an open source alternative to GA. I prefer it, because I do not want Google to know everything about my visitors.

Matomo introduced a new feature – an offlioe JS tracker: https://github.com/matomo-org/matomo/pull/15970

I have a question, though: There is an option “Offline Google Analytics”. What does this option do? I am using Matomo (former Piwik) instead of Google Analytics and I am wondering if there is any support for offline tracking via Matomo, too?
