though of rather advanced age it seems that I’ll be the owner of a BBS. Using Computers for about 40 years I’ve always been only user of Newsgroups, BBSs and Forums.
At the moment I’m looking for an appropriate Forum software. bbpress is one of the pre-installed ones on our server and would make not too much work for our admin, who is a friend and does that as a friendly turn. But I do not know if bbpress is suitable for a plant forum.
The most important special feature of a plant forum is showing pictures. Picture upload (limited to a number) and automatic resizing is absolutely necessary.
As the community for exotic plants is very small at the moment, no pay-ware can be used.

If there is a bbPress Forum in German language I’d prefer to discuss my questions there.

The theme is Mantra.

The player Works well on the PC, but when it is opened on a mobile device, there are several problems:

1. The player will not play songs continuously. It often has to be relaunched to play the next track after the track before it has finished.

2. The Phone will go to sleep while listening to the playlist and it will stop playing. It then has to be re-launched.

3. The image is resized wrong to fit in the player, so there is a black space that shouldn’t be there.

4. The player uses a huge amount of data. Is there a way to change this?

And YES, I already had my hosting company try to trouble shoot the problem and also the theme vendor…it’s a WP problem….PLS HELP!
