I use the popups plugin to show some extra content including some pictures. I uploaded the pictures to my picture library. If I implement a picture in the normal content on the side the quality ist good. As soon as I import the same picture into popups the quality is really bad. How can I adjust the picture quality?
]]>If you see the page above it shows a product image and 2 more images in the slide show. The problem I am having is that the images are losing quality when I upload them and when they display as product images or thumbnails on my shop page.
I have tried everything I could find online;
– adding add_filter(‘jpeg_quality’, function($arg){return 100;}); to functions.php
– using smush
– adjusting thumbnail sizes in media settings and WooCommerce products thumbnails
– all while using regenerate thumbnails
None of these seem to work. You can see that when you hover over the image and it zooms in then the quality is a lot better then when it is just the static image which leads me to believe the image quality is fine it is just being regenerated for the product images which is losing its quality.
Please advise, client spent a lot of money on photography and whats to make the most fo it!
Cheers,
Courtney

]]>I set my pictures perfectly for the website in size, quality and with a srgb color profile embedded. When I upload them into WordPress Gallery, they look exactly the same like the original file. But when I use them in a Portfolio item or any page/blog page and look at them on the website the color is different and the sharpness and contrast from the original picture is gone…..there are pixels and spots in the background etc…
I thought I could solve the problem by using the ?image magic engine“ plugin for wordpress – but it doesn’t change anything. Also I added the ?GPP Improve Image Quality“ Plugin – but nothing changes….
What can I do?
Thank you a million times for helping!
Best,
SWald
Sometimes when I upload the quality looks lower than the picture actually is, for some reason when it pulls it into the blog page the quality is lost. It only happens sometimes though.
I tried installing this plug in as directed from a previous query but it hasn’t worked

Can anyone help?
Thanks!
I’m using the latest version of WordPress and when I upload a picture the quality is compromised and the pictures looked blurred. When I go to make adjustments to the picture in photoshop to make the file size smaller and sharpen it etc the images looks even worse when I re-upload them.
If anyone has any suggestions please help
