Changes phrases on email options block

Hello,

On the email options block where it says things like “Gamification,” and “Receive emails related to points balance movements,” etc, is there anywhere you can edit those phrases? They do not seem to be editable in the block itself and I cannot seem to find any settings to change phrases in the Gamipress plugin. Is there an addon for this, or do I have to use a translation plugin?

Special characters in double quotes

Hi Mikko,

I’ve come across an issue with words that contain special characters, such as Bj?rn?ya or Neuquén.

Issue: special characters are not recognised when enclosed in double quotes (e.g. “Bj?rn?ya Project” or “Neuquén Basin”).

Do you have any suggestions?

How do we change the text COMMENTS at the top of the form? In phrases we changed COMMENT to REVIEW but it had no effect. See screenshot https://imgur.com/a/MmQdn9z for clarification.

Email editor / error after subcribe / phrases

I use the dutch version of the plugin with theme twenty seven.

settings –> phrases –> email
De editor is in view mode and I can’t change to text mode. I want to insert some HTML code in the email for the layout such as

. This is not possible in view mode.

subscribe in the comments form
When clicked on the > sign in the comment form at the subcription area a WP error page (something not found) showed up. Where can I link to a page which excist?

Not all dutch translations are updated after saving.

Rewriten Words/phrases

Hi there

The plugin is awesome compared to some other ones on the market, but i have noticed a very strange thing with the translations.

I translate the words/phrases and that is OK, meaning that the translation takes place. However the strange thing is when i want to replace/rename the same translation with a more suitable word/phrase. Exactly this step is not possible. I have seen it happen with many words/phrases. I do clear site cache, browser cache and you name it, but nothing can change that word/phrase to a new desired one.
To me, this means that i have only one chance to make the right translation. if i want to change that later, then i have to forget about it.

If all i mentioned is wrong, please correct me with the right solution,

issues searching sentences

Hi there,
when i search for sentences made of a few words (e.g. APERTO LA DOMENICA), the search extends to every single word (taken separately).
So in this specific case, the search extend to APERTO and also to LA and also to DOMENICA, with the results that a word such as EYELASHES is returned simply because it contains LA.
This is a big issue as the search won’t be useful at all.
One solution is to automatically include “” in the background (without the user noticing that).
So in reality by typing APERTO LA DOMENICA you will actually search for “APERTO LA DOMENICA” and this would match the expectations.
How can i make this happen?
I am not a developer, so i believe will need to modify some php page, can follow the instruction if given.

Specifying specific translation of a phrase

Hey Rob, wonderful plugin.

I know that the answer to this is probably “not possible,” but I was wondering if there’s any way to influence the translator for a specific phrase.

The bilingual organization I’m working with, National Union of Farmers, and is known in French as “Union Nationale Des Fermiers” officially. But the plugin translates it differently (Syndicat national des cultivateurs).

I think it might be a little awkward and confusing when the organization’s own name is translated differently. So I was wondering if it’s somehow possible to tell the plugin somehow, “this phrase is translated like this.” I just don’t know anything about the depths of the Google Translate API and what is possible.

If it’s not possible, no worries, I think French readers will be able to tell anyway that it’s auto-translated by Google Translate.
