created invoice pdf in admin backend is corrupt after php update

Hi, I updated my website from PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.3. I am using Booster Plus 7.2.3.
During the woocommerce order process at the frontend, the pdf is created and added to the email. But now I cannot view the pdf invoice or packing slip in the admin backend anymore. The file is corrupt and can not be opened.
When I revert back to PHP 7.4 the pdf is created properly in the backend.
How can we solve this?

Hey There,

Recently WordPress said that I needed to update my website to PHP 7.4 so I could get the latest updates for my plugins…etc after I saw that I went to my host (linode) and updated the website to PHP 7.4 but when I went back to WordPress I saw the same alert that I need to update it cuz it’s 7.3!!! but as u can see here in the host it’s 7.4, and this is a screenshot from my dashboard.

i rebooted the server and went to an old snapshot from the host and redo the same steps but i got the same result.

Hi, I’m using your plugin in an Aruba hosted server.

It said to upgrade my PHP version ’cause the 8.0 it’s outdated but when upgrading to 8.1/8.2/8.3 your plugin “RoboGallery” shows me two rows of errors:

updating php version messes up my site

hello, basically what the title says

i tried updating from 5.6 to 7.1, 7.4, 8, 8.1 etc, nothing works, it just messes up my design completely and website is unfunctionable

i tried different themes, disabling plugins etc it’s all the same, it only works when i revert it php version back to 5.6

any clues? it’s driving me nuts

I upgraded my website from 7.4 to 8.1. Since then I’ve been getting this error message:

This is the specified string:

unable to find “update” button for updating PHP version

When we login wordpress asking to update existing PHP version. But don’t see option for updating PHP version. could you help me where to find this button.
current version of PHP 7.2.13 and wordpress version is 5.8

What could be cause for this error and how to go about resolving it?

Major update problem

Hello,

I′m following the advice from Marko Vasiljevic: “… reach out to your theme support and check with your hosting support also, to resolve these errors. It appears that there was some problem with the theme and the PHP update or similar.”

I did a major update of my website in this running order: plug ins, word press (to last version) and php (on domainfactory.eu) to V8.2.

After that I received the white screen, an error message about W3TotalCach and couldn′t log in any more.

My pc runs on windows10 and the browser is Firefox.

After all this I got in touch with Marko and did following things:

deactivation of all plug ins
deleting anything being connected to W3TC
deleting HTAccess lines being connected to W3TC
starting debug mode
switching back to php v7.4

Now I can see the website (very deranged), but still can′t log into the dashboard.

Following to Marko I would like to ask you for further support as this situation is taking a lot of time and energy. I am absolutely not very experienced, so please take that into account if giving me any instructions, so I can follow your thoughts realizing those steps!
