I’ve spent many hours trying to get this to work for me, then the images started displaying at random sizes despite all being the same dimensions. I had to copy and paste the settings of another image in the Divi Lite settings window to fix it. All the images had the same settings before, but something seemed to have upset it, so I had to go back in and set it right again. Time will tell if I have problems again. When it works, it looks good.

Remove the information- button with Photos in a Carousel.

I quess since there has been a WordPress update, suddenly I see an information-button right below every Photo in the Carousel, see https://www.fotozuiver.nl/portfolio/dromen-van-kinderen/#jp-carousel-534

As a sample this Photo but all the Photos in the Carousel have this INFORMATION- BUTTON. How do I remove this information- button? Anyone?

By the way, I have added the Jetpack plugin, which is the plugin that allows you to display photo carousels.

Hello – every since the latest WordPress update this plugin isn’t displaying correctly on listings. Every real estate website we host is experiencing this issue. There is a huge white space at the top and some images aren’t showing. Any idea when this will be resolved. I have several clients complaining.

Carousel only works when the lower caption area is clicked

I manage a number of sites for various clients and I have recently noticed a change in JetPack’s behavior in regards to the way it shows the gallery carousel. What it’s doing now is going directly to the photo when the image itself is clicked and only displaying the photo carousel when the lower boxed caption area is clicked.

The only major change that has recently occurred is moving from one host machine to another with a different configuration. So either there is something wrong with the configuration or a new interaction is happening. I cannot verify if this issue was present prior to the move.

Steps Taken:
– I have tried disabling all plugins except JetPack but this did not have an effect.
– I have changed to a default WordPress theme this did not change the behavior.
– I disabled CloudFlare with no effect
– I cleared all caches with no effect
– I disabled CSS, JavaScript and HTML minification with no effect
– I did all of this together with no effect
– I did all of this separately with no effect
– I restarted the various services and even the host machine with no change.

I am seeing this issue on multiple websites hosted on different machines.

I would like some help debugging this issue please.

Avatar images in Jetpack slideshow are huge instead of thumbnail

Hi there!

A rare situation but: I added a comment to the details page for one of my images, and it is showing the full-sized image, rather than the thumbnail.

This avatar’s image is larger than the image that the page is for, potentially confusing anyone who lands on the page. I tried attributing the comment to someone else, but it was just the same problem with a different avatar image.

In the HTML, this shows up in the code as:

I am posting this in Jetpack because when I turned off Jetpack and only Jetpack (to troubleshoot) the issue went away, and it showed a generic avatar instead.

Cannot get the Photo Carousel to appear no matter what I do?

I have the Olsen Light theme installed. I have managed to get everything set up apart from the Photo Carousel on the header for the front page. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong as I’ve tried every setting possible.

I’m using Safari for my browser.

If I tick the show recent posts option a blank space just appears at the top and dislodges my recent posts. I’ve messaged the theme creator on twitter so many times and never receive a reply however I love the theme and would hate to have to change again.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Photo Carousel In Header

Hi,

I’m trying to create a photo carousel on my home page like this one https://www.thehautegal.com/ .
At present, the theme is only allowing me to add a post carousel

I would like it to go all the way across my page and have the posts & main sidebar below it.

Also, is it possible to remove the grey lines that are dividing the sections on each page or at least make them white so they can’t be seen.

JetPack – Carousel – Not Working – HELP!

Ok. I’ve been using the Jetpack Carousel for adding galleries to my posts. However, instead of adding an actual gallery, all it does now is add thumbnails to my post, and when I click on a photo, it takes me to the file upload page.

How do I get it back to the cool looking slider?
