I’m trying to build a new WordPress site to replace my existing Google Sites site (which replaced an old Drupal site.) Up to this point I’ve been able to bring the URLs along (setting the permalinks to use a custom structure of /node/postname_here/)

This works fine for alphanumeric permalinks, such as
my.site.com/node/my-awesome-post

However, the old posts that I want to bring along, which were originally on Drupal, have permalinks in the format of
my.site.com/node/5/

When I click one of those links, the browser does a 301 redirect to
my.site.com/node/

Is there any way that I can get the old all-numeric permalinks to work?

If the [Admin->EventList->Settings->Frontend settings]Events permalink slug is set to events then only the archive shows, with no filter bar, at my main events page at [mysite]/events. If I change it to event (or anything else) then all events show, the filter bar is visible—but the page doesn’t use the permalink format to link to the individual events.

So when the page’s permalink is [mysite]/events and so is the desired slug, it doesn’t work…

Hi,

At the moment my events page and single events page are showing my default archive.php and single.php templates. How can I get it to show the event date, time and location on these pages?

I tried creating a page called events.php and single-event.php but it didn’t seem to override it. Also I’m not sure how to call the date, time and location. Can you help?

Dear support,

I have an issue when setting Permalink slug to the value “gallery”.

If I set Permalink slug to “gallery” on this link:
https://bkdp.alocus.com/home-renovation-image-gallery-toronto/

All the sub alum would have a link:
https://bkdp.alocus.com/home-renovation-image-gallery-toronto/gallery/-toronto/urban-retreat

Note the part /~toronto is being inserted after gallery.

If I don’t set Permalink slug, then it will default to nggallery and yield sub-album link to
https://bkdp.alocus.com/home-renovation-image-gallery-toronto/nggallery/urban-retreat

If I set Permalink slug to ‘testing’, then it also works as expected.

home-renovation-image-gallery-toronto/ may have caused next gen to generate an incorrect album sub links, unfortunately, I can’t change this URL path as there are backlinks to these galleries.

Hello. If I add / in “Gallery -> Other Options -> Miscellaneous -> Permalink Slug” pagination doesn’t work. How I can delete Permalink Slug or setup empty?

Gallery Settings & Other Options not saving

After clicking the save button on the Gallery Settings page or the Other Options page I am sent to the WordPress admin dashboard. Going back to the settings page(s) none of the changes have been saved.

I haven’t moved the site. The only change is updating to NGG v 2.0.40.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
