Something told me from inside me–that it could be that I’ve not really spent time to understand it.
I picked it up today 22-August-2020 and I’m still facing the problem that made me run away from it.
The problem is that, when you click on a portfolio, it gives you an error page. It is supposed to load the Portfolio Single Page with the details entered in, but it doesn’t do that.
Please, how can I fix this?

I then changed it to post name
It changed the permalinks, but if I leave it like that, & click on any, I get a 404 file not found error.

Everything is working on the site and on social media sites like Facebook, Pinterest, etc. However, when a post is clicked on through Google, Yahoo Search, etc., the page goes here and a blank page shows up:
https://mysite.com.com/my-post-title?2016/08/my-post-title
Note that it’s not a 404 Error….just a white screen. Any ideas?

My post name is “wordpress forum” permalink should be:
https://mydomain.com/custom-post-type/wordpress-forum/ But it’s always generating like below:

https://mydomain.com/custom-post-type/something-2/
Not generating from post name.
Please help me to fix that.

]]>I’m taking over from somebody’s previous WP. So I don’t think it would be safe to do it thru “appearance>menus” etc. And they hand-coded some of the menus in the header php file.
But when I echo out a new link/page etc. I receive an error message.
Here’s my new link:

But some times when i open 6-7 pages then widget shows 3-4 link without %category%
i.e. https://mysite.com/%postname%/ and category will be left …..
