I have just installed the plugin in order to see if it can help us in optimization of the website. But while doing the performance test, I am seeing the following error message
"There was a problem fetching the desktop test results. Please try running a new scan."
I have tried several times in order to see if I can get some results, but nothing as of now.
Help in this matter would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dipak
Would be nice if you could optimize some of the hummingbird.css files after Asset Optimization that show up in the Performance opportunities though.
Not a flaw of the plugin but a heads-up for those using:
Some technical challenges if you are not familiar with on auto settings / combine etc in Asset Optimzation and impacts of database cleanup / Plugin Health deletion, so use with care or a good test plan and certainly a backup / rollback just in case. Needed this on a few occasions, e.g. Orphaned objects that removed a hidden Elementor record in OceanWP Theme that needed a roll back or reinstall to repair once identified.
WPMU Dev team – great job, maybe add some cautionary notes to the UX to make it even better.
I have JS minified, combined, combined external and inline, and deferred. Also, in tuning settings from exclusion′s box I have removed the following options to avoid being listed:
jquery.js
jquery.min.js
however, when I run GTMetrix says that this Jquery resource is render-blocking:
https://example.com/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0
Do you know where should I go to fix this issue please?
Thank you!
]]>Next, I am unclear on what the automatic setting on asset optimization does. If I switch back to manual, there are a lot of files that say they are not loaded in the footer. Isn’t that something the auto setting should handle?
I also can’t manually move anything to the footer. I get the time out message from chrome.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a setting I am missing?
Thanks

I’ve opened up the Firewall to all of the IP addresses per the link posted in this thread. I’ve also confirmed that the TLS 1.2 is enabled under our CloudFlare account for this site. What else could be causing the initial Performance Test to fail?
[Moderator note: Please, No bumping].

else I have left as is. My site has been running pretty fast so far.
I am inclined to give these guys five stars. I would have probably gone 4.5, because there is always room for improvement, with all of us.
Thanks Hummingbird for a great plugin!
]]>The progress bar reaches 100% and it says:
“Test complete! Reloading”
Then the popup disappears and nothing happens.
No results, just the default Performance Test page with Test My Website button.
Not sure if related, but when I try to run a Google PageSpeed test I get an error:
“Lighthouse returned error: NO_FCP. Something went wrong with recording the trace over your page load. Please run Lighthouse again. (NO_FCP) (NO_FCP)”
Any help would be greatly appreciated as the site is loading painfully slowly at the moment.
Cheers
