We’re now trying to launch subscriptions, and have realized “percentage discount” coupons will only be charged on the 1st payment, and none of the recurring payments. We found that we can edit the coupon to “recurring product % discount” allowing the coupon to charge on recurring orders, but then to no longer be valid on simple product purchases.
We realize we could make two coupon codes for every customer, (one for simple purchases & one for subscriptions) but that seems like a messy and non-sustainable solution.
Is there a way to make a coupon code be both “percentage discount” and “recurring product % discount”?

]]>In WooCommerce’s Coupon page, default there are 3 Discount type.
1. Percentage discount
2. Fixed cart discount
3. Fixed product discount
I noticed that there is a “Calculate amount by exchange rate” for #2 and #3; and not #1.
So, based on our currency HKD, changing currencies will work in Cart and Checkout if the currencies’ exchange rate is > 1.0. For example, from HKD to INR, it will work.
But if I go from HKD to USD, or to GBP, of which the exchange rate is < 1.0, then the symbol will be updated, but the price stay at the HKD price.
Will the Pro version add this capability to #1?
]]>I can’t set up the discount rules I need. I’m trying to set up:
– BOGO X get Y
– For 1 category only (lets say ‘t-shirts’)
– Percentage discount (recursive if possible)
A scenario might be:
Buy 1 white t-shirt -> pay full price
Buy 2 t-shirts (1 black 1 white) -> get 10% discount
Buy 3 t-shirts (2 black 1 white) -> get 20% discount
However I can’t seem to save when I chose percentage discount. See screenshot attached for my current settings. Once I press ‘Save’ it won’t save and I’m not getting any error messages.

Thanks in advance!
If a user buys more than 1 of a certain item, give 10% discount to all items AFTER the first one. So if a user buys 5 items, 4 of them receive a 10% discount.
I’m having a hard time setting this up using woo-discount-rules
. What is the correct configuration for this? I have the Pro version of the plugin.
Thanks.
]]>We have a client who has created a % discount coupon, and has ticked the box to ‘should not apply to items on sale.’
However the coupon still gets applied to any items that are on sale in the customer basket, which is frustrating our client.
I have noticed that if the coupon type is ‘fixed price’ then the coupon isn’t applied to sale items. However the checkmark does not specify that it only disables applying the coupon on ‘fixed price coupons’. Surely percentage discount should also restrict applying to sale items?
Please let me know asap. Thanks.

Any insight on how to resolve would be highly advantageous.
Thank you!
We are using the free version initially for testing purposes.
We have created a product list first which selects products from 1 specific category.
Then we have setup a new discount as follows:
“If orders items count” is more or equal to “10”,
“Fixed amount of product price” of 50.
When we add any of the products from this category to our cart by itself, the discount works as expected. Changing the quantity up or down and the product price changes as expected.
But if we have any other products from our store in the cart and then add an item from this category, the discount doesnt apply to the product from this category as expected. It seems like adding any other products before the discounted product cause the discount not to work. If however the discount-able product is added first, then any other products thereafter it work fine.
