Hello,

I have a form fillable PDF file I want to upload to my WordPress site, have users complete and then have it emailed to me. Is WP forms my answer. Do I need the Pro version? What are the steps? I am confused. The PDF is ready to go.

My site is NOT an “attack site” as alleged by google-chrome! Is there a fix?

Hello. Google-chrome is listing my gardening newsletter site as an attack site, and urging visitors to back away. It’s not an attack site. It doesn’t even have a donation button. It’s an archive of cactus gardening newsletters from 1989 to 2016. The newsletters for half that period have been embedded using PDF Poster Pro. It seems that google can call a site an attack site if it has lots of PDF downloads. My pdfs are NOT for download. I specifically paid for PDF Poster Pro to prevent downloads. However, even with settings on protect from download, the plugin gives away the file name of each pdf in a popup menu top-right on the embed.

I have written to the plugin people for a fix for this before I found the “attack site” banning. Wrote again today.

However, I don’t know for sure if that’s the cause of the “attack site” label from google-chrome.

I would appreciate feedback from anyone who can advise me as to why google-chrome has banned a gardening newsletter site as an attack site.

Is it the mass of PDF files embedded? They are free to read and not to be downloaded.

Is it the free Business Directory plugin? With no funds requested and no payment methods installed anywhere on my site, not even a donation button.

Is there any way I can stop google-chrome from falsely calling my gardening newsletter site an “attack site”? Sign up to google for something or other to prove it’s clean?

I don’t know what to do, please help.

But if I click on error itself, it starts the download process, latest WP and Plugin versions,

EDIT: IT works fine on EDGE, but the issue is on Vivaldi it seems, logged in user.

PDF Files Not Showing in Media Library

I have uploaded several PDF files from both the Media Library accessed from my website page as well as the Media Library in the Dashboard. Even though they show up in the dashboard, they do not show up when I am in the actual page where I would like to insert them. Please help!

Linked PDF Files won’t open for some users

I posted new registration forms (PDF versions) on my site for an upcoming event, but I cannot open them on my home computer, where I do all my WP work. I can open them on my phone, and on my work computer, and several other people have indicated they can open them… so it’s not a web site issue, it’s an end user issue. Any ideas what’s haywire with my computer?

Display PDF files

Hello!
Is it possible to display PDF files in a way that PDF Embedder does it?
I have an idea for a workaround: I created a rich text field and put PDF Embedder shortcode in it. It works fine, but the problem is that users have to upload the file first and then save their profile, and after that they can get the PDF file link to put it in PDF Embedder shortcode. I hope I explained it correctly.
Is it possible to do that in PDb? Or something simmilar?

Bug Service worker on PDF files

Hola,

he detectado un error entre los service workers y los PDF, si estás en una página con un PDF esta aparece en gris hasta que eliminas el service worker.

?Podrían decirme si también les ocurre?

Ejemplo:
