Good morning, I am reaching out after 2 days of trial and error with 2 issues we are seeing.

1. Our portfolio tracker has become completely inoperable. Root cause shows wordfence plugin on a conflict test. I have tried to put it the firewall in learning mode and also disabled with the same result. I have attempted to add allowed URLs to support the API data required with no result. Only way is disabling wordfence.

A second issue we are having is with Ultimate member and and account creation. When a user creates an account and they receive the activate email, it is taking them to a password reset screen where the “Link has expired”. I determined wordfence is also causing this error as it goes away when disabling the plugin as well. Please help me understand what I am overlooking here.

Hi, I am using front end user registration form for wordpress.
The pass reset shortcode for new user notification is not working and sending the wrong link in the email.

Link Sent:
https://global-settlers.miscgyan.com/wp-login.php?action=rp&key=xyz&login=xyz

While It should be sending this:
https://global-settlers.miscgyan.com/lost-password/?somresetpass=true&somfrp_action=rp&key=xyz&uid=xyz
How Can I fix this issue to send correct link.

The stored password stopped working, used the reset password link on both confirmed email and username, and WordPress states ‘password reset sent’ but I’m not receiving any emails, not even to Junk I.ve been trying for two days and desperately need to access our website.

Any thoughts? I do not have access to Cpanel.

Hi everyone. I did a good amount of research but couldn’t find a solution to what i’m trying to do.

So I was hoping I could turn to you guys for some help:

Upon creating a WordPress account, an email gets sent to the user for them to set their password: “To set your password, visit the following address:”

I am using a Webflow site to let our clients sign up for our service, and i’m using Stripe webhooks to create a WordPress user account for them as soon as they’re created as a customer in Stripe.

What I’d love to do is set up a thank you page ON our Webflow site to show them their link to Set their WordPress password and log in. The link seems to be unique of course though so I have no idea how i’d do this.

If anyone knows how or has any ideas i’d really appreciate it and it would be a huge help.

While clicking this link it is redirecting to home page, not redirecting to reset password form

Reset Password doesn’t work

I am having an issue with users trying to reset their passwords.

I have the shortcode on my reset password page, and page has been added to the settings.

However, after I’m done changing the password and try to log in with the new password, it tells me the password is incorrect.

Also, as a side note, I don’t get the “you’ve changed your password” email notification, even though all notifications are turned to “on”.

Tried resetting all plugin settings back to default, same problem.

Lost Password going to Https instead of Http link

I recently moved my site from https to a http server and changed the correct information in my admin to reflect that but the lost password link is still linking to the https site. how do I remove this from the link? I cannot find it in the database. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m using wordpress.com to run a site for the geography department in our school

The blog is www.rocogeog.wordpress.com

On some of the pages there are links that I would like to password protect. I don’t want to password protect the page, just some of the links in them to documents I have uploaded.

Remember it’s wordpress.com freebie that I am using so I might be limited.

Any help would be great

lostpassword page – autogenerate vs link

Hi all

I might be missing something but I want to force my blog to send a new password link instead of an autogenerated password. On this link wp-login.php?action=lostpassword. But one of my blogs uses sends password link to change password on the wp-login page my other blog sends a password. They are both latest installs of wordpress, so I am coming to the conclusion you can set this somewhere to force it to do either way. Or one of my plugins is interfering with the process. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
