This may be more of a theme issue, but I thought I would start here. My url is https://wrightoutloud.com. I want the posts to show a portion of the entire post, not the entire post. I’ve changed it in the Read Settings to “Summary”:

Summary

Is this where that setting is made? If yes, mine isn’t working for some reason. I thought I’d changed it before, but I can’t remember where. Thanks.

'continue reading' fails to display the full post…desperate!

If I try to reach the post under ‘recent posts’, ‘categories’ or ‘archives’ in the side bar of the home page, it takes me to a partial post with a ‘continue reading’ button which when pressed only gives me the same partial post, not the full post.
I am desperate for some help here…could someone please assist?
PS When I access the post via the blog tab I get the full post…the partial post problem only occurs when I access the posts via the side bar avenues)

Full Blog Post Showing On Homepage – I only want part

I am having some issues with my blog. I’m trying to set it to where only the first 10 or so lines show up on the index.php page. Any idea on how to do this?

Also, I think that because it’s showing the full post instead of part of the post, I’m getting a really wierd error. One post is showing up below my archives links on my right. Check it out:

Any idea how to have full feed and partial post on main page?

Optional excerpt doesn’t work, must it be supported by theme? But anyway I want have each post on main page with one full picture and little decription with read more option
so I’ve tried tag, but it’s probably only for cutting feed [and I have checked full feed], but I don’t want cutted feed.

I was searching through forum, and I found only not resolved topics, documentation too, and on all those internets isn’t any helpful information.

I’m using Alexandria 1.0 Theme for my blog.

When I click on an archive or category, only partial posts are displayed. How do I get the full posts to be displayed when someone clicks on an archive or a category ?
