Sorry in advance for stupid questions, I’m not too sure on my terminology or the difference between ‘migrating’ and ‘cloning’. Basically, we are locked out of our hosting account so what I want to do is copy my current website, and once I have a new blank website with a new URL, I want to import EVERYTHING so the new site is an exact copy of the old site.

Question 1) Is that something that the free version of Updraftplus migrate can do or do I need to pay for the premium so I can “clone” the site. I’m hoping I don’t have to pay $70 for a year of service just for a single use.

Question 2) My current site is using a paid theme. Once everything is copied over to the new site do I just need to pay for another theme key and then the site is up and running or how does that work?

No Elementor Free Theme. It was good before.

Before there was an Elementor free theme, now there is no free theme; Very sad. All of Gutenberg’s themes were there before.

Failed to install paid wordpress theme demo content

I paid a premium wordpress theme from themefuse, it’s a parent theme with 12 child theme. After I activated the theme, I arrived at the page for installation. When clicked install, it began installing files from the theme. But in the end I encountered this message Failed to drop tmp table _fwbk_wp_playbrizy_logs. DROP command denied to user ‘email’@’localhost’ for table ‘_fwbk_wp_playbrizy_logs’ What should I do? Has anyone have any ideas what this message mean? Thank you.

Migrating hacked website to new hosting provider 500 error

Hi All,

I have a client whose website has been hacked, so we are cleaning and moving the site to new hosting provider.

But the problem is if we upload cleaned theme to new host it gives 500 error.

When the cleaned theme is uploaded to present host, it works fine, but on uploading to new host, it gives 500 error.

Can’t figure out the reason after trying for one day.

Kindly help!!

Change a paid theme's gallery settings

Hi! I recently purchased and installed a theme from ThemeForest, and for the most part I’m happy with it. However, as a photographer I need an easy way to create galleries and this particular theme sort of lacks that. The portfolio option that it offers is rather… Quirky. In order to create a portfolio/gallery post, you must create a portfolio post for each individual image (the problematic part), set a featured image, and link it to a portfolio category. I have a large number of images and this would take me quite awhile to do and I’d like to avoid this, if at all possible.

Previously, I just used a LightBox plug-in and now I see that WP has a Carousel feature with it’s JetPack plug in. I’d be perfectly fine defaulting to this and just inserting a gallery into the pages themselves. However, when I do this, I get blank pages which I think suggests the theme has its own display method which prevents WP’s default galleries from working. I’m comfortable editing the code behind the theme, but the developer’s support doesn’t cover this and I have no idea where to start for this particular problem. Do you have any suggestions?

For the time being, I’m using a slideshow plugin that was included with the theme purchase, but it has it’s own quirks that I’m not entirely happy with either. It works, but not quite as well as I’d like.

Do you think it is wise for someone skint and unable to do anything but all their own coding to use a paid for theme ($55).

What is the use of the query “themejunkie” loads of times in TJ paid themes?

I had purchased the themejunkie all themes package a few months ago and then I also purchased another new theme separately when they brought it out a month later.

Today when I was about to create a new website using one of their paid themes, I noticed codes like these repeated almost after every few lines of code.

I do not understand the use of the word “themejunkie” and such queries and why is it repeated maybe a hundred times in the theme files. What is the use of this word and why is it needed? It looks like blatant advertisement to me which is very bad especially for paid themes. What is the user of this query and repeating the name of their website a hundred times in theme files of their paid themes? Kindly explain as I am not able to understand the usage of this query so many times in the theme files.

I have used other paid themes like Brain’s studiopress and few others and lots of free themes but I never saw them mentioning their website name every few lines of codes. I am still not sure why would such a query be need unless for blatant advertisement and that too of paid themes.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Internationlised Proffessional 3 column theme

I am looking for a professional designed theme which has already been internationalised so we can use the Language Switch plugin.

Our current site is https://www.crucifixionandcross.com/ which uses a paid theme of palnila which is not fully internationlised.

We have attempted to do this but are getting nowhere so are looking for a theme that this has already been done.

May also been looking for a second theme for a different web site.
