Problem with pages not updating!

Hi, Ive used your plugin for a while. But for some weeks i notice a problem with new posts and changes to pages only visible when logged in! When not logged in, users see old versions of the page, and old posts.

I see that this is a common problem with the plugin. I’ve cleared all caches several times with no changes. I uninstalled the plugin and still pages behave the same!

Please give me a solution to fix this!

Pages are not updating

Hi,

I have just changed to a new theme. I have installed all necessary plug ins for the new theme and it shows up. Changes i do in the customisation are showing but changes i do directly to the pages (like deleting a picture) are not showing. I cleared the cache, press end cmd+R (Mac). even tried to look at the page on a different computer….nothing!

I am all new to wordpress and i am not quite sure what is happening. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Pages update but posts don't, except for Chrome

When I publish new posts they show up on Chrome on my computer, but not on Firefox or Safari, and they don’t show up on any other computer but mine. When I make changes to Pages (not Posts) those changes show up, but not changes to Posts and not new Posts that I publish. Started happening suddenly in the last week. Any ideas what is going on? Why can’t I update posts? Why do things show up differently in one browser over another?

And in another bizarre twist, different pages and posts show up with different previous versions of sidebars. It’s as though there are different timelines and depending on what browser I’m in and what page I’m on different timed versions of the website are appearing.

pages displaying old versions of themselves, failing to update

a site i have been building was working fine, then i logged in and changed some text on one of the pages – nothing else. nothing in the css, nothing even manually within the html, and suddenly several of the pages began displaying the first version of them that i created. the pages have subsequently been updated (and were displaying properly) – they all appear fine in the wp-admin view, but when they get updated now, nothing happens, and preview page displays only the outdated version of the page. i have disabled all plugins and have automatically (and manually as well) reinstalled the newest version of wordpress. i have cleared the browser cache (and checked on more than one computer) but the issue persists. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Pages or posts that contain images not updating

Hello

Last week 4 sites on the same server were hacked, the header php code was changed but luckily thats all so they were back online in no time.

I then read up on adding security features to the sites. I changed all the admin names and renamed the all the wp_ prefix’s in myphpadmin.

since then any page or post that i have been trying to update that contains images (only ones with images) redirects to /wp-admin/post.php gives me a 404 error and doesnt update.

I have since crawled the net looking for solutions, have deactivated all plugins, changed the database prefix back to wp_ and everything else that i have found including adding settings to the htaccess, none of this has worked. It has something to do with the fact that there is images on the page or media settings and i cant figure out what. please please help its driving me insane!!

Posts Not Updating After Publishing

I have been looking for a solution to this for the last couple of days. I searched this forum and other webmaster forums around the Internet. I’ve seen several people have this same issue and some have resolved it. But when I try their solutions, they don’t work for me.

PROBLEM: I am able to publish a post okay with any feature I want; text, images, links, etc. The post will publish perfectly fine the first time. However, if I later notice something that I’d like to add, I’ll open the post to edit and make changes. As soon as I hit the ‘update’ button, the page reloads and all of my new changes simply disappear without posting.

ATTEMPTED SOLUTIONS:

There have been suggestions to uninstall wp super cache plugin and remove it. I actually didn’t have any caching plugins installed, so this wasn’t an issue.

There have been a couple solutions where one suggested turning off cache with a line of code in the wp-config.php file. Did that, didn’t work.

Another poster created a plugin to turn off cache permanently. Installed, didn’t work.

Deactivated all plugins and tried to update. No go.

Removed all cache from Internet browser. Nope.

I’m hoping that one of you who has experienced this problem and found a solution not mentioned above will be able to help. I would greatly appreciate it as I am running out of hair to pull out of my head!

Pages not functioning correctly

Starting earlier this evening, I have been experiencing some problems with my WordPress-installation. The problems are solely situated in the WordPress-configuration, nothing can be seen at the blogs frontpage.

There are a couple of issues, whom I believe are somehow related. First of all, the formation-buttons in the post-new.php are not showing up – neither can I switch to the code-tab(the tab is there, but nothing happen when I click it). Secondly; clicking ‘Update settings…’ on any configuration-page makes the page go blank, without redirecting me. Clicking on ‘Log out’ returns the same, without logging me out at all.

As I said, all these issues began to occur simultaneously, so I believe that they are somehow related – but I can’t figure out how.
