Website pages moved to trash daily

Every day, at about 4 minutes past 5 Queensland time, two of our web pages move from published to trash. The pages are our home page (are you ready for a midlife renaissance?) and the landing page for our forum (The Wine bar). At the same time, in settings>reading the setting reverts back to the default of showing the blog post page rather than a static home page (at least visitors to the site are seeing our blog and not an error message).
By looking at logs of activity for the website I have narrowed it down to this action…
Tribe_trash_event_cron which runs daily at this time. I have forced this action to run at another time and confirmed that it is indeed causing these two pages to be moved to trash.
I cannot find any instances of anyone else having this problem or any suggestions for a fix anywhere.
Is anyone able to help me out with this one please?

I have experienced this phenomenon on 3/n sites I look after – without user interaction (verified by parsing the logs for successful logins), pages are being moved to trash/bin. I am able to restore these pages, but in one instance the movement coincided with a permalink issue, which 404’d all non-default permalink URLs.

Plugins are fairly standard and uniform across the affected sites:

Akismet
All In One SEO Pack
Better Search Replace
Google Analytics
Google XML Sitemaps
W3 Total Cache <– Disabled pending seperate paeg cache issue resolution.
WooCommerce

Themes are varied: Enfold; Genesis etc.

Has anybody experienced such an issue?

License error 4 – licence expired!?? Everything's disappeared!

I’ve just spent 3 days solid building content with page builder, having recently got WordPress – and suddenly, as I opened my About Page, I received a flash message: ‘license error 4, license expired!’ and all the content on my pages have been deleted!?
Even worse, I can no longer use the normal WordPress editor as it’s no longer there and everytime I attempt anything (make a new page for example, I had to trash my about page) I keep getting the error message!
Please help??

All pages not appearing since/deleted since update

Hi there,

Since I updated your plugin it has removed all of the default pages that were created with the plugin (i.e logout, view order, edit address etc.)

What can I do to re-add these pages?

Site Hacked – All posts and pages deleted, mystery comments left

Hi, this is the second time this same exact thing has happened to our OptimizePress site. I realize I may be asking in the wrong place and will ask the OptimizePress people the same thing. But in case anyone on here knows what I am talking about…

All the pages and posts were deleted, and mysterious comments were left at or around the same time everything was deleted. We don’t see any site visitors at the times when these comments are left. The comment author is always “1”, where the domain should be is “1” and the link is “https://1” and the comment says nothing but “1” Of course there is no avatar and the only thing you can click on is the link to https://1 which doesn’t exist.

Since everything is deleted, you get a 404 error when you try to load any pages. When you go to the home page, you then see the “OptimizePress Getting Started Guide” as if it’s a brand new installation. However you can still go the the Dashboard and all the plugins and comments are still there. 13 of the pages are still there also, but they must have been drafts or tests as they weren’t linked anywhere on the site and they have no content. 100% of the posts are gone.

We have daily backups so we’re not stressing over it, but I would like to know if anyone else has encountered this same hack. I couldn’t find anything about it anywhere online.

Upgraded Theme/Plugins – Blog Reverted to Earlier State

I upgraded my wordpress theme (zbench) and two plugins (Testimonials Widget and something else) about one hour ago. After I did this, my entire wordpress blog site (https://heidiwillard.com) reverted to an earlier state, which means all work I’ve done on it (posts, pages, plugins) for the last two weeks has vanished.

I can see that my latest posts (those from a few days ago) are still in the database, but I don’t know why the wordpress isn’t accessing the database properly or how I can see if my plugins I downloaded, the comments I received, and the pages I’ve created are still around.

Anyone know how I can revert the wordpress site back to the state it was two hours ago?

HELP! Posts & Pages deleted themselves, Can’t add new posts or pages.

Hi Everyone,

I am a complete newbie at wordpress and would really appreciate your help. Last night I finally managed to get wordpress doing what I wanted and had about 8 posts, 5 categories and 4 pages published.

Late last night I added a selection of Plugins which I’ll list below.

This morning I logged in and updated a post, after clicking ‘update’ it returned me to the edit/update screen and displayed “0 Posts”. All my pages are gone, all my posts are gone. I’m not too concerned about recovering them as its an extremely young site, but I’d like to know how to get my site running again and how to prevent this from happening in the future. I suspect it may have been the fault of a plugin, they’re listed below.

postMash was activated at the time of the crash/deletion, I deactivated it afterwards hoping it would fix it. It didn’t.

WordPress Database Backup was added this morning after the crash. I have no backup.

My Home Page Has Been Deleted Or Disappeared

Hello. I had a home page at pennystockalerts.com with other pages I designed as sub pages (I’m not sure that’s the right term, I mad the home page the “parent). Today I checked my site and my home page is gone but the sub pages remain. Also my contact us page and my disclaimer page are gone. Is it possible my former web designer did this or can this be some kind of setting I messed up when tinkering around with my WP functions?

Help: I find that all my posts and pages have been deleted

I have recently installed wordpress on my website and I posted a few posts. I had also edited the page ‘About’. Yesterday, when I visited the blog, I was greeted by an error “Not Found : Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”
When I logged into the administrative area, I noticed that there were NO POSTS and NO PAGES.
It’s difficult for me to understand how those posts have been deleted and by whom! I spent time on this forum reading posts in order to see if someone had had the same problem, but I don’t find an answer to my problem. I am afraid that I’ve lost all my posts; I can start new posts, but the problem is that they might also be deleted unexpectedly.
Can anybody, please, tell me what might be the cause so that I can tackle that and avoid future surprises?
The only plugin I installed and activated was Feedburner. Do you think it can be associated with posts deletion?
Hoping for an answer.

All pages are deleted or missing

Today I noticed that ALL of my pages are simply gone both in the UI (e.g. page not found when I navivate to the URLs) and in the Management panel.

A few days ago I noticed most of my plugins were deactivated.

The blog had been running fine for 8 months before this happened. I hadn’t uploaded any new plugins or made any changes other than writing posts.

Although a few weeks ago I tried creating a page template without a sidebar on it, which didn’t work. But that couldn’t have blown away my pages right? I didn’t apply the template to the missing pages.

Any ideas? Thank you.
