2. I read that the plugin automatically bypasses cache for admin. I assume this is for both default and Worker modes. Does it do this for *preview=true* also? (If so then I can remove these page rules.)
3. The reason I verify things are ok with page rules is that I’m trying to update my child theme’s functions.php and style.css files. The pages seem to be caching ok but I can’t seem to get the updated style.css file after purging the whole CF cache and my browser cache. Settings I’ve enabled are preloading, fallback cache, and browser cache (in Worker mode). Am I doing things right?
Many thanks!
]]>There appears to be only one article (listed below) that describes SG Optimizer’s feature, Cloudflare (Full Page Caching). Unfortunately, it does not include information that may be helpful to many plugin users.
Based on the above, it would be great if SiteGround can answer the following questions:
(1) How much faster is SGO Cloudflare (Full Page Caching) vs. Cloudflare (Page Rules)? Your article does not provide any metrics, benchmarks, numbers, or percentages. Data appreciated.
(2) SGO Cloudflare (Full Page Caching) — when activated — deletes all Cloudflare Page Rules. Further, the Page Rules are not restored when SGO Cloudflare (Full Page Caching) is deactivated. What are your recommendations for preserving and/or restoring Cloudflare’s Page Rules? (other than recreating them manually, which is quite painful when you’re using 15+ Page Rules)
(3) How does SGO Cloudflare (Full Page Caching) treat dynamic content? (e.g., website pages using Gravity Forms, User Logins, Booking Forms, WooCommerce payments pages, Calendars, etc.). Is the entire page still cached (regardless of each individual plugin’s cache/no-cache settings)?
(4) SGO Cloudflare (Full Page Caching via CDN’s Workers) has a limit of 100,0000 requests/day and 1000 requests/minute. Exceeding these limits will require upgrading to a more expensive Cloudflare plan and/or pay extra for exceeding these limits. What tools does SG recommend to determine our website’s hits per day or per minute?
(5) If we’re using SGO’s Dynamic Cache and MemCached successfully (as well as Cloudflare caching via Page Rules), do you still recommend activating SGO’s Cloudflare (Full Page Caching)? If so, why? Please be specific (numbers, data, etc.). For example, % increase in TTFB, Lighthouse Performance Scores, WebPageTest Scores, GTMetrix Scores, etc.
(6) What percentage of SG customers are currently using SGO’s Cloudflare (Full Page Caching) feature? Publishing metrics (e.g., pie charts, etc.) showing how SG customers are using your plugin and respective settings would be beneficial to many.
Thank you in advance for your help. It would be great if you can “pin” this topic. Will help many long term.
Cheers!

]]>I am having issues with the new WP site health checker site-health.php reporting:
Your website appears to be unavailable when using an HTTPS connection.
I am using cloudflare, everything enabled for HTTPS (HSTS, HTTP3), just replaced a bunch of posts that were http in database still and all redirects work fine.
This started to appear in latest 5.7 WP version.
also, what are the optimal “page rules” settings in cloudflare? another user reported having fixed that by checking page rules and he had some http ones. These are the ones i have now, note that cloudflare help section doesn’t suggest adding “https” for these:
mydomain.tld/wp-admin*
Cache Level – Bypass
mydomain.tld/”preview=true”
Cache Level – Bypass
mydomain.tld/*
Cache Level – Cache Everything
thanks,

I’ve been recommending this plugin to clients for months, and it’s a perfect combination with our Perfmatter’s plugin.
]]>We are certain SG hasn’t tested its Cloudflare Optimization feature under all possible website conditions.
Based on the above, this is to request that when your Cloudflare Optimization feature is activated, that all existing Cloudflare Page Rules be deactivated or turned off (NOT) deleted.
Essential Benefits:
(1) Users will not have to rebuild or reconstruct their Page Rules if they decide to disable SG Optimizer’s Cloudflare Optimization feature. Many users have more than 20-40 Page Rules supporting their website.
(2) Users can control better the performance and function of their website.
SiteGround has no right to delete users’ Page Rules. Please keep that in mind.
And yes, Cloudflare Page Rules and Workers can coexist if set up properly.
Thank you!
]]>Please add a warning to your plugin dashboard as detailed here.
You are doing a disservice to your clients by not forewarning your plugin users.
Thank you.
]]>I am using your plugin for some time. I have disabled Page caching for the time being as I am developing the website. I am on shared hosting on Hostinger and have free Cloudflare enabled. I am on a Litespeed Server and will use its own cache plugin along with your plugin.
I came across the Cloudflare Workers option in the plugin. Since I am just starting out, I would like to enable the Workers Option as it is according to you more powerful than the Page Rules option.
1)
a) Therefore I would like to know if I have to enable Workers in the Cloudflare website dashboard or just enable the “Worker Mode” and “Disable the cache buster” options in the plugin and the plugin does everything OR both?
b) Do I have to disable the Page Rules if I do this, or can I use it side by side with Workers?
c) Can I add additional Page Rules by myself while using the plugin?
2) Another thing if I enable Page Caching later on, will I have to disable it while website development during making changes? Can I do it now?
Thanks. I am complete non tech newbie. Please suggest a step by step with explanations if possible.

So i contacted the Litespeed support first and they pointed out that the problem is from cloudflare side.
So can you please help me to solve the issue
as there is so much waiting time IN GT METRIX.
