Customization of Page Restrict Plugin

Hello developers,
I am using a plugin namely “Page Restrict”. The plugin by default displays its own version of a login form and redirects the user to that login form page in case of a page restrict. However, I want to modify the plugin such that when user tries to access restricted page, they are redirected to my URL of my custom Login / Registration Form. I have been trying to modify the code but to no avail. Can someone please help me out and guide me in the right direction? I’ll be really thankful.

there are many plugin to restrict access for users on role based but I was looking for something to restrict page access to login users..
I try many but this one work fine as i expected..
This very simple and easy to use..
made my day worth..

Cannot select more than 993 Posts

I have installed this plugin successfully and it is doing the job, except the list of posts I have is 2900 posts long. No matter how I select them (mouse, control key, shift key, scroll to end etc) I can never select more than 993 posts. Even if I select them, when I save the form there are only 993 selected. Which means basically it does not do the job for my sites.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

I am using the Divi theme by Elegant Themes, and I want to use Page Restrict on my Project posts. Divi has a special post type called “Project”. Unfortunately my Projects aren’t showing up as Posts under Page Restrict’s settings. Is there any way for me to manually force Page Restrict to see those posts? This would be SO very helpful!!

This plugin works good and has been working great on my shop page, but now that I have applied it to 3 new pages, those 3 pages now prompt me to login twice. Once in the page restrict form (the one I want to keep) and the next in the default wordpress login form?

How do I get rid of the second login request?

Restrict Page Access

Does anyone know of a good alternative to the Page Restrict plugin? I was using it to limit access to certain pages to employees, board members and managers (depending upon type), but it is only compatible up to WP 3.4.2 so it no longer functions with the current version. There are subscription-type plugins out there that limit access, but I really liked how straight forward Page Restrict was (limiting certain pages to certain roles or users). Thanks!

I’m working locally (test server) before launching so no url.

I am building a training site using the evolve theme in wordpress. I have 36 video classes each on their own page (each page set to private) with a video class on each page. The way I’d like to sell is “By the class” (user pays for specific classes so they will have access to the page with the video), “By the section”(user has access to a group of 5-7 pages/video classes), or “Full Access” (user has access to all 36 pages/video classes). It looks like this is possible but I’m having trouble wrapping my head around how to achieve this with the settings. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi there, we’re using WP as an intranet so all staff are members. Is it possible to restrict pages (or categories) to a certain IP range? So that anyone who falls out of that range does not gain access. Your thoughts appreciated. Thanks, Karen

Membership Site / Page Restrict

Hello fellow forumers!

I am currently working with a website (a work website) that uses Page Restrict Plugin to restrict pages to logged in members and WP Hide Dashboard to hide their access to the dashboard. I just took over this site and things seem a bit hectic behind closed doors.

Within the next 2 (short) months, I am to add 3 new user roles (in addition to the one that is currently restricted.) Or: I am attempting at open an additional password protected section of the website, but Page Restrict only allows for one level of access. (IE: Students access a student portal, industry members access industry portal, Faculty access both.)

I am trying to gather ideas on the best way to do this. A membership plugin recommendation or a page restrict plugin recommendation that allows for access to more than 1 restriction level?

I’ve tried to do some research, but I cannot seem to find the best Plugin(s) that will suite what I need.
