User profile edit drop down not working/conflicting with Elementor Pro

On the Ultimate Member User Profile page, no user can edit the Profile Picture as it just links to the profile page (reloads the profile) instead of showing the dropdown to ‘upload a new picture’. This only seems to work when Elementor Pro is deactivated but that’s not an option. However interestingly the cover photo works absolutely fine. Any ideas of how to get around this or remove the profile link from the image even?

Hello,

i have a weird problem.
I made a custom shortcode and I put it in a page.
For a couple of days the page is accessible without problems.
Then it happens that, in frontend, when I click on the link that leads to this page, the browser reloads the page I’m on.
If I go to site administration, click on the “permalink” setting, I just save the settings.
Then I go back to the frontend site and the link works again. The correct page is opened.
I compared the .htaccess file before saving the permalink setting and after saving the permalink setting. The files are identical.
I don’t know what else to check… does anyone have any ideas?

Duplicated and updated page; renamed to original, now not directing properly

I duplicated “mysite.com/page-one”, which resulted in “mysite.com/page-one -copy”.
I made all changes to the “/page-one -copy” and then renamed it to “/page-one”.
I renamed the original /page-one to “/page-one-2”.

The problem now is that all of the links from other pages coming into to the new “/page-one” are pointing to /page-one-2, instead of the newly edited and renamed one. I have changed the slug name on the pages to match the respective page and my permalink is set correctly to “https://mysite.com/%postname%/. I’ve also gone to Appearance>Menus to see if anything was amiss. I removed the page link and reloaded it as a precaution. Nothing works. I’m at a loss. Any ideas as to what step(s) I might be missing or doing wrong?

Help! I am having serious issues in trying to change the word “blog” displaying on my home page selected image. I am not sure how to change this & would LOVE some help in working it out. Page Link dropdown in Post is now empty

I have several posts, all of which are the same category – news-cat. Previously, all posts, when edited, had a ‘News Category Post Options’ section with a ‘Page Link’ drop down containing all of the Pages. When I selected a page, that page would be linked to via the Read More button in the post.
I recently updated several plugins and then updated the database. Now, the Page Link drop down only contains the home page.
Any idea what I need to do to re-populate the Page Link drop down?

Cannot set ‘Page Link’ to ‘Hide in Nav Menu’

Hey,

I believe there is a bug with setting a ‘Page Link’ to ‘Hide in Nav Menu’.
The option doesn’t seem to save after being set. It always reverts back to the default setting of showing the page in the nav after refreshing the ‘Pages’ page.

I have tried this on a clean install of WordPress 5.1.1 using Nested Pages 3.0.7.

Can someone confirm whether or not this is a bug? Like I said I’m using a clean install of WordPress as well as a clients WordPress with the same issue.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a ‘Page Link’.
2. Quick edit the page and check the ‘Hide in Nav Menu’ checkbox.
3. Refresh the page after Nested Pages has saved. ‘Hide in Nav Menu’ checkbox will have reverted to being unchecked.
