I’m wanting to have page counters on post category pages. Any suggestions on how to do that?

Hello,

I use Duplicate Posts quite a while. Now I duplicated an old post already with thousands of views and I recognized that the page count is not set to 0. It does not matter if I use “duplicate” or “new draft”.

I am using latest version of WordPress and Gutenberg block editor.

Does anyone has the same experience?

I loaded the latest version on a site to evaluate this plugin. I have many custom post types. The basic settings screen lets me pick post types, but I have this displayed on it.

Hello again:)

I would like to modify the page counter at the bottom of each page of the quiz.

For example, is it possible to translate, for example, “1 out of 10” into “1 parmi 10” ?
I found in the documentation the CSS variable qmn_page_counter_message but couldn’t figure out how to use it …

In the same vein, how could I get this message hidden ? Or change its color / size ?

I tried :

.qmn_page_counter_message {
color: #ff0000;
}

but this doesn’t change anything.

Tested the popular “WordPress Popular Posts” with 300K installs. Was turned off by it’s excess settings, and the fact it counts a page refresh as 2, instead of 1.

In overall decided to adopt this little trustworthy plugin. It’s reporting also records “Events Pro” pages. Gives you a simple easy-to-read table of stats.

Excellent.

Installed this locally to test before utilizing on a client site and experienced no problems whatsoever in either environment. I’m using it in a custom theme template and the integration couldn’t have been simpler. Thank you for this fantastic plugin.

I’ve also used it on a CPT with no issues as can be seen here.

Here is how I’m using it on the blog.

Counter on PAGES works, POSTS just spins -Both toggled on

Using Ver 2.0.0 of “Page View Count” by a3rev Software.

Works great counting views on PAGES. But is not working on POSTS, just a constant spinning. I understand the download states not tested with my version of WP.

Does someone have a simple fix? I seem to have all the settings configured correctly. You will have to dumb it down for me if I have to make coding changes. I am not comfortable with that at all.

I would prefer a recommendation for another Plug-in that is proven to work. I have tried a couple already.

Bonjour, J’utilise les plugins Wordfence et Page counter. Il me semble que les attaques bloquées par Wordfence s’ajoute au compteur de page. Ce qui fausse les stats des compteurs de pages. Je comprend le phénomène comme la requête arrive sur le site , le page counter est incrémenté et ENSUITE Wordfence bloque la requête. Si ma logique est bonne ! comment changer la séquence d’activation des plugins pour en 1 blocage de la requête et seulement et seulement si wordfence laisse passer la requête l’incrémentation du compteur de page s’enclanche. Si vous avez une astuce, je suis preneur. Je pourrais “trapper” les IP entrantes et décelées comme attaque et les bloquer via .htAccess (pénible comme boulot, il y a mieux à faire). i want to have a counter at the end of each post which do the following.
Not only it state the no times this post has been reviewed but do it bit differently.
for example like at the end of post

I’ve received 357,882 emails from people about this article. 0 from animals.

in this example 357,882 is no of times post has been reviewed/read.

so when next visitor visit this page it changes to

I’ve received 357,883 emails from people about this article. 0 from animals.

can somebody recommend a plugin if it is already there or some other way.

please remember i don’t have any coding experience.
