I downloaded and installed Member at the suggestion of Mail Poet. I need to have the home page accessible by any and all visitors to the site but the rest of the site only visible to signed in members. Can’t see how to make that happen.

Page access wrongly restricted by ARMember

Hello! After some ARMember update (I guess) the start page of our website can’t be accessed by the public anymore. Visitors get re-directed to the login page by ARMember. Access to the page had never been restricted by ARmember before. I tried to reset the access rules for the page by toggling on/off/on and re-saving, but to no luck. What can I do?

Hello,

I am trying to set up ARMember for a not-for-profit club which raises funds for women’s scholarships. We need a very simple set up. We need to limit access to most pages to members with no payment at all. We need to import our membership list. We would also like a few public pages.

We are having a few problems.

When I enable the plugin and set access for all pages for all members and also for those with no membership level, viewers can only see our home page. I’m obviously missing an important step.
When I try to do a test import of members, it only displays the top two records from my CSV, the title row and the first actual record. I am also unable to “select” this actual record.

Advice would be greatly appreciated. I have tried the import on firefox, chrome, and edge.

I am looking for a way to easily manage page and post editing so that user A only has access to edit in Section B, and user C only has access to edit in Section C. Does Groups facilitate this?

Hi! We’ve been using this plugin to restrict page access for a few years now. Recently, some users are not able to access a certain page. The page content disappears even if I remove any group restrictions as a test. If I disable the plugin, the page appears. How can I get support with this issue? I can supply logins, screenshots, etc if this is a private thread.

I installed your plugin and this is where I have an issue. The clients even if they receive the link in their order can’t access the page. When I click on the page when I am as the admin of the site it works but not as a regular customer… What can I do ? Is there something I am not doing ? thanks !

I am repeatedly receiving the “Cookie nonce is invalid” Error when trying to log onto my password-protected pages. I have tried the fix provided in the documentation, I have clear all of my websites caches, I have double-checked the caching exemptions, I have directed my viewers to clear their browser caches and have done so myself, I have also tested this issue on Chrome, Edge, and Incognito.

I’m trying to restrict access to an online course and am looking for the best way to do this.

This is how it should look like for the user:
View course information
Purchase course
Get Email with login details
User logs in
Redirect to course overview page
The user can now click on the course they purchased which will open the course welcome page

The user should only be able to see the course they purchased
They should not have access to any other locked content

I figured out how to create the login page and how to redirect to the course overview page.
– How do I continue from here?
– Where can I set the pages that this particular user has access to?

I appreciate any help with this

Can not access pages, posts or customizer

I have been having a lot of problems with this site. I am able to see the list of pages and posts, but when I click to edit, I just get a white “loading” screen. Forever. Likewise for the theme customizer.

I have updated all that could be updated- php, theme (twentyseventeen) and plugins.

I have also tried deactivating (and reactivating) all plugins.
