The plugin adds so much JS/CSS overhead to the site. Read this:

the site WITHOUT the plugin activated:
271.7 kB (CSS + Javascript)
3 CSS files (255 kB)
2 Javascript files (16.7 kB)

the site WITH the plugin activated:
1.421 kB (CSS + Javascript) !!!!!!!!!!!
7 CSS files (664 kB)
18 Javascript files (757 kB)

Maybe your developer activate the developer tools of Chrome or any other browser, to see the difference.

There are so many “basic things” I have to tell you – or things which I find out AFTER I bought the plugin. That is so annoying for a plugin, which I bought and where I pay annually for!

Overhead filled in wp_optimize but not in Database

Dear Helper,

1) For some of my websites, I notice that the overhead in wp_optimize Tables is filled while in de phpAdmin it is 0. Is this normal?

2) For some of my websites the Overhead increases very fast. What can be the cause?

After I run wp_optimize, everything is fine
… for a little while.

I am considering switching from WPForms to something else, as WPForms relies on jQuery (we don’t use jQuery at all on our site) and subsequently loads additional separate scripts when enabling features like date-picker etc. without aggregating files and thus creating overhead penalised by Google Pagespeed Insights.

It is unclear to me, after reading about your plugin, if it is optimised to minimize overhead?

Hi,

Is it possible to defer loading the social buttons?

I try to use GTMetrix to test the speed of my blog.

Before using social plugin, the loading time is only 1s with 14 requests.

However, after using social plugin, the loading time is 4s with 90 requests. So it seems the social buttons put a lot of overhead on the page.

Database options are overhead and resist

I have” Error establishing a database connection. ” error and I took a look at phpadmin and saw database options of the wordpress and my sub-domains (network site) are overhead and when I want to optimize or repair the table I get a “missing value in the form” message and after some minutes I see the options are overhead again.

I removed all the plugins, installed the wordpress too.

What should I do to fix this nightmare?

I say this plugin can be excellent, if like all plugins with multiple uses somehow only load what I use. Currently I am only using Tabs and Expand? which work great But I hate to have the extra overload with all the other features I currently am not using. However they should take a bow and be proud of their product. I hope to make it a 5 star soon. Thanks

I noticed something from my website is causing lots of requests and high CPU.

It’s likely that it’s a plugin…

However, I noticed that the index.php file is causing it, but I was told that basically everything goes through that file. In other words, it’s not something within the file that needs to be corrected.

Is there a way to actually tell what is causing the issue, besides the classic turn off all plug-ins and turn them back on technique?

wp_options row always having overhead…

My wp_options table in my database has always overhead.

I even have sites that have virtually no content or anything and they are also always showing overhead.

I run the Optimize and Repar functions (I also have some optimization and clean-up plug-ins), but shortly after it shows overhead again.

Can this cause my website to be slow?

How can this be fixed?

Has anyone else had this issue with the new update? I’m getting server overhead on several websites where I installed the update. I don’t recall having this issue before. I went and cleared out the overhead from these websites, but it occasionally returns, only on Wordfence tables.
