Hi, seems like this plugin stopped working, anyway for my site after upgrading tot PHP 8.2.

Could the developer please let users know if there is any chance of an update for this plugin?

Error 500 on Yoast Test – Reset Indexables

Similar to this post, I am getting Server Error 500 when hitting the “Reset Indexables” button. I tried hitting the “Reset Internal Link Counter” and get the same on that, and in fact pretty much all of the links are giving this error.

The whole reason why I even installed Yoast Test is because the main SEO plugin isn’t updating the facebook thumbnail og:image url, and I came across this post where Yoast Test was recommended.

This seems to be opening up a rabbit hole. I just updated my website and need to urgently publish it on socials, but this issue is stalling me since the thumbnail is outdated.

Any ideas?

I truly loved this tool as it made building your brand so easy by having your branded colors ready to go everywhere you needed them on your website and development work. I used it for a few years and it was a powerful plugin. Sadly, it has stopped working a while back and doesn’t seem to be something that will be updated to work with the newer versions of WordPress. If you are using older versions of WordPress, this is a great tool, but if you are keeping your WordPress, plugins, and tools up to date this plugin no longer works. Hopefully we will see an update in the near future.

Unresponsive support, lack of updates

Unfortunately, the plugin is still incompatible with the newest version of WordPress (5.6), released on 8th December. Enabling the plugin breaks the site. Several users mention this problem at the support forum of the plugin. Unfortunately, the support forum for this plugin looks abandoned by the developers.

Obviously SEO Ultimate won’t be updated any time soon. I hope the author is doing well. If you want to save your current SEO data you can migrate it over with the SEO Data Transporter plugin. Install and active it.

Then download and install your new SEO plugin – say the Yoast SEO plugin.

Then go to tools / SEO Data Transporter and follow the instructions.

Works like a charm.

You will have to go through your new plugin’s SEO settings to ensure everything is in check.

A good idea is to backup your site titles and meta descriptions so you can compare them to the new settings.

Screaming Frog will help with that.

As of today, this plugin was last updated 5 months ago. It is getting to the point of getting concerned for the stability of the plugin.

Does the plugin developer, “WPMU DEV” for this “Custom Sidebars – Dynamic Widget Area Manager”, have any plans to update this plugin to be compatible to the current WordPress version?

Hi, this plugin looks really nice, but has not been updated for more then 2 years. Before installing I would like to know if it’s safe and still maintained.

On Contact Form 7 4.6 and 4.7. PHP Notice is thrown.

wpcf7_add_shortcode is deprecated since Contact Form 7 version 4.6! Use wpcf7_add_form_tag instead

The plugin calls these methods in

modules/checkbox.php line 36
modules/select.php line 32

Changing to wpcf7_add_form_tag on both resolves the issue.

Please update the plugin, developer.
