I desperately need help! I migrated my blog from wordpress to another host/provider (all inkl.) and since the migration the portfolio option of my theme “orvis” does not work anymore so that I cannot use my starting page. Before the migration, “portfolio” was available on the wp-admin page on the sidebar. Now it disappeared.
Does anybody know why?
Thank you so much in advance!

]]>I’ve built a site with Orvis them. I built it before Orvis was available at www.remarpro.com. So not all the features were working fully on self-hosted. Now that it is available at .org I hoped that it might be easier to set theme color options. But it seems just the same, with one only color option in the modifications.
By styling in CSS I’ve managed to make most everything work how I like, but recently I have a conflict with the gallery plugin I’m using, and I get a border under each thumbnail, as it’s picking up other CSS mods.
Can I better control color right off the theme like in the demo yet?

Thanks for any help with this.

]]>When the site is viewed on a large monitor the text component of each portfolio post is relegated to a secondary position in a “sidebar”.
But, when viewed on a mobile device, the conditional css places the text content first, in a primary position, and the media content, the image, second.
This applies on the portfolio listing pages and the single, individual item pages.
This makes no sense to me for a visually orientated website.
Anyone got any idea how I can change the order – so the image comes first and the text second?
I’ve scoured the css and functions files but can’t seem to find out how but to no avail.
Any ideas gratefully appreciated.
]]>I’m using Orvis on a self-hosted site. All good, but……
I would like to be able to display info in the sidebar before main content when viewing on a mobile device. At present, all content displays first, and once at the bottom of the page we see the sidebar content. As I’m putting custom menus in the sidebar often, I’d like them to display first when on mobile. Also, it would be great to be able to affect this on a page-by-page basis with custom CSS for each page. I have a plugin running for this.

]]>I’m using Simple Page Sidebars, and it’s fantastic!! Easy, simple, clean and effective.
Only thing I’d like to change is when viewing my site on mobile, I’d like the sidebar to display before the rest of the entry-content. I’ve asked the theme developers, but no response.
This is a link to my test-site, with a menu in the sidebar which I’d like to display before the gallery.
