we encountered a problem with the original file size. We have a photo blog where the original files are inserted, but once we set the size in the “Image size” section to large, we click on the original files to display the size large, not the original.
Here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1G5vEXIC-EhEEvdUL9zgg0yFBiDtWKP-o/view?usp=sharing) the administration settings, can I ask for advice?
Thank you.

i have the following problem. Since we didn’t know for long that WordPress just generates a new file when changing the size, we just scaled an uploaded image to save space. The Media Library now displays the changed images (the file name is the original file name plus an “e” and a long number), while having the original size still in the uploads folder.
Now: We wanted to change the theme, and the featured image of a post in the new layout unfortunatley is much bigger than before. But it uses the smaller image that is in the media library instead of the original and therefore it is blurred/pixelated.
“Regenerate Thumbnails” didn’t work for that problem, since the featured image isn’t a thumbnail. What worked was to go the the media library, edit the image and restored the original size.
But we have over 1000 posts with featured images. It would be very cumbersome to look for every single image and to edit it to the original size manually.
Is there any way to make that automatically? That the media library automatically restores every image to the original size?
Or long story short: How can I restore all my images in the media library to the original size at once?
That would be great. I hope you can help me.
Thank you very much!

Thanks for adding backend side authorisation for flickr some months ago. Works great for me.
My question or feature request today is:
I use lightgallery and have a download link displayed in the upper right corner.
Current behaviour: When I click the download link it will download the image in its current resolution.
Behaviour I would like to offer: Users click the download link and flickrs original size version of the image gets downloaded.
Or: A way to offer a original size download per thumbnail on the grid with the pictures of my album directly. I am using .
Usecase: Members of our association would like to be able to download full res. images to make prints etc. The images are hosted at flickr with privacy set to “private”. So I cannot just link them to flickr directly (which your plugin offers), as they would need a flickr login and I would need to add each of them as friend.
The password to access the demo is ‘photonic’
]]>I run a theme called divi and have updated my wordpress to the latest version, I use the default editor for blog posts and that seems to be where the issues lie.
I have tried changing the sizes in the html editor and deactivated some plugins, but that didnt work so I’m not sure where the problem lies.

]]>I have a problem with my featured images for posts/pages. I’m using theme twentyfourteen. When I upload a picture, I want to change its size (crop it). It works, I save the image. Then I click on refresh in Set Featured Image window and I see that I cropped the image. So far so good. Now I click on save featured image, but oh-oh… The featured image in Edit page window is cropped, but differently; in other words, the featured image is just cropped original image, but that’s not what I wanted. Sooo, is it a bug or feature?
Does it mean, that I have to crop the image outside the wordpress first and then upload it to use it as a cropped featured image?
Anyway, the first picture that I uploaded and cropped as a featured image was cropped right and worked as intended, but I don’t know why. I only remember that at that time WP created only 3 extra pictures in the upload directory (so 4 pictures in total, while now it’s 9 or 10 pictures in total for each uploaded picture). I experienced this in last week, it happened on fresh setup of WP.
]]>i have the following problem: For the Autofocus template, the images that i post to articles, keep their original size. I tried set the size that i want both from css and from article creation. But i didn’t manage to achieve anything. From article creation, for example i set images to have 300×300 size. Althougth it seems to be ok, when i post the article, the images still have their original size.
I know i can set the size of the image before i upload it, but it would be nice if i could scale the image proportionally, in order to be nice viewed from a mobile phone etc.
Does anyone have an idea of what is happening?
Here is an article of my blog to check it:
