Here’s links to screenshots that show that Slack notifications posted the correct new order number until 10/7.

I already contacted Slack for WooCommerce support team, but they told me to contact the sequential order numbers plugin team.
]]>The amount of numbers in an order number are 9, like: #184004781.
Normally this is only 6, like: #178470.
I tried a couple of plugins and snippets where I can change this the 9 numbers into 6 numbers, FOR NEW ORDERS TO COME, but when such a plugin is deactivated, These new 6 number order numbers get the original 9 number order numbers again, because when a new order is made it gets assigned the original 9 number order number, a plugin will then change it into a 6 number.
How can I change the 9 number order number into 6 for new orders to come? Without it changing back into 9 number when deactivating a plugin or snippet.
I have a question.
I am importing orders from one site to another, but I would like to keep the same order number. (It’s not the ID; this can be different). When importing, it generates a new order number.
Is there a way to keep the same order number?
]]>On the web shop, we had to do a restore from a backup and then we imported new orders created after the backup time, but we were unable to import one of orders, so I entered it manually. The problem is that it should have been the number 619, which has now been skipped, and when I entered it manually, the new number 621 was used. Even if it stays like this it is not too big a problem. The second thing I’m going to ask right now, if I transfer 621 to 619, will the next order get 621 or 622. I’m assuming 622, because that’s how databases usually work. If this is the case, then it doesn’t even make sense for me to switch to 619, when there will be a hole in the number sequence again.
What do you recommend I do?
Thanks in advance
]]>Why do you have to show me a reference number in the GDP Dashboard that I have no knowledge of? Why don’t you capture and show the WC Store order number which is something that I can actually use? Should probably include the WC {Site-Title} descriptor as well so that what is in the GDP Dashboard is {Site_Title} {Order_Number} from WC.
]]>I’ve got a problem with order numbers. I just installed the WooCommerce and the numres are starting from like 5235203342777 and above.
I’ve installed the app to change the numbers but in the databese (in the link of post) they are still super high.
It’s causing problems with my API integration with Baselinker.com app (for collecting my orders from multiply locations)
Is there any way to change it? Reset? Add some prefix and count from 01 again.
The problem is that that API integration must have numbers below 8 digits
Currently, with the new prefix, the orders are SO-WEB-1, SO-Web-2, SO-Web-3 …
I want to renumber to keep the old number series, SO-Web-36917, SO-Web-36918 …
Thank you!
]]>I have installed the plugin today with the following configuration :
[Prefix][Number]
Prefix : “cr-“
Lenght : 1
Starting at : 1
The 3 firsts orders were a success and the plugin did well his job but
after the order 3, the system goes back with the woocommerce standard configuration.

]]>I recently discovered that when someone buys a product in my store, the order number that is sent to the bank software doesn’t match the order number in WooCommerce.
I use the payment method Redsys and I have contacted their technical support for this issue. They say they can’t do anything because the data that is sent from my store is the one that appears there. So I have to change the format on which the order number is sent.
To give an example, if the order number is 1234, in the bank software is 123z4. I don’t know why but it adds a Z in there.
Does anyone know why this could be happening? I have other stores with the same payment method and it works fine.
