Not sending after update

CF7 was sending fine before it was updated. Current version is 5.1.4.

Now, the message ‘There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later’ is displayed in orange box. If you resubmit the form after fail, it works. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with same issue.

No errors are logged. There are no JS errors. Have tried with and without recaptcha. Have had this happen on other sites too?

Have tried adding new forms and still no luck. As mentioned, they worked fine previously.

Any help would be appreciated as we have to roll the plugin back to V5.1 to avoid this error.

Error with orange border

I have an error with orange border in Contact Form 7.
This message appears: There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.
I’ve been reading in forums the problems with reCAPTCHA but it’s not my case, because with the reCAPTCHA plugin disabled the error persists.
Also, I’ve been reading about the configuration of email sending in Contact Form, and I’ve been following different solutions in this way, but the error persists.
Can anyone help me ?

Orange errors on send

Cannot resolve orange box errors. Have added a WP SMTP plugin and configured. It tests fine through its own configuration, but CF7 still won’t work. Have updated recaptcha to V3. No change. Cleared caches multiple times. No change.

Client tearing hair out. Do I change to a different contact form?

Spam error because a word

Hello!

I have a contact form that sometimes fails sending emails, because it thorught the orange error.

The strange thing is that the contact form is failing when I put de word “Moya” (a typical spanish surname).

I tried the following and still fails:
* reinstall the plugin
* install and configure the plugin “Easy WP SMTP” to see if there is a problem seding mails
* deactivate the theme, activate the “Twenty Seventeen” theme and try sending

The only thing that makes the form works is to delete all the words in the blacklist (which was the default list, no personalized).

Any adviced?

W3 Total Cache & Contact form 7 Nonce Issue

Hi,
I have been racking my head with an issue a few days and am hoping someone can help. I have a quick contact form set up on a page. It was working fine until I installed w3 Total Cache. Now whenever the form is submitted I get the orange box error stating “THERE WAS AN ERROR TRYING TO SEND YOUR MESSAGE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.” I searched online and the CF7 website states that this is an issue with the form thinking the message is spam (link below) due to the cached nonce. It then explains that I need to lower the interval for garbage collection, so the cache is emptied less than 24 hours. So I did this.. I tried just under 24 hours, 1 hour…and now all the way down to 1800 seconds (30 minutes) and yet I am still having the issue. I then tried to block page caching for the contact page. Still didnt work.

I have also installed Flamingo (an app by CF7 that databases the email messages sent through the form) to double check if the messages were even coming through. And they are but are being filtered to the spam folder in Flamingo, and not being emailed to me. I’ve been searching forums and all over the interwebs but have not been able to find a solution.

So any help would be immensely appreciated. Thank you!

Contact Form Not Working – Orange Box (Ruled out FAQ Fixes)

I’m using Contact Form 7 and am getting an orange error message when myself or someone else tries to send a test message. I have checked the FAQ, and currently:

-Do not run Askiment
-Do not use any blacklisted words
-Do not use any cache plugins

Are there any other solutions to this?

I was successfully using the form with no problems until updating WP.
From what I’ve read, the orange means it’s marked as SPAM. And I can’t get to the bottom of what’s going on.
I am not using any cache plugins.
I am running Akismet (of course! – besides I’ve never heard of a plugin having problems with Akismet) I turned it off to test the form again, and I still get the orange boxed error.
I am also using reCAPTHCHA, could any of that be an issue?
Any thoughts/help? I so would appreciate!

Still orange border problem

Hi guys,
I have an issue with the orange border problem.
I have tried all of these solutions :

without any change.
With a minimal php script, I’m able to use thinks like : @mail ($to, $Subject, $mail_Data, $headers); (sent & received)
The wordpress SMTP solution gives me a good result too (I receive the test mail).
But the CF7 isn’t able to give me anything else than the orange border error.
I have no word in comment blacklist.
Maybe, there is some “\r” which aren’t supported by ovh, I don’t know…
The link of my form. I have tried different entries, mail, whatever, still orage.
Need for any idea or help, thank you !

Error with Orange box

We continue to get an error with an orange box on all of our forms. We have captcha installed, aksimet installed (as stated in the CF7 support page, and super cache. Any ideas?

Error message reads Filed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.

We also are clearing the cache out manually too.
