Clicking “save” lead to /wp-admin/options.php with error 403

Hey,

when I ran the plugin in on my locale it worked like a charm, since I moved to the live server I’m having this problem.

Each time I am hitting the save button, I’ll get redirected to /wp-admin/options.php, which states:

Error 403: your request was denied
Possible causes for this error are:
No index page (e.g. index.php or index.html) was found
Your request was denied by our web application firewall. In case you are the operator of this website, you are able customize or disable the Web Application Firewall in our control panel.

I’m a bit of a newb. What’s going on here?

Shipstation Authorization Key

Hi. Instructions for shipstation integration plugin say to delete the auth key in options to regenerate a new one. However when I do this I get an error that says “Settings save failed.“

The specific key is “woocommerce_shipstation_auth_key”

lorsque je veux faire les paramètres de l’extension “User Submitted Posts ” et après l’enregistrement la page ” https://tunisiefootball.tn/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=user-submitted-posts%2Fuser-submitted-posts.php ” se redirige vers la page “https://tunisiefootball.tn/wp-admin/options.php” qui ne fonctionne pas.
Le message d’erreur: “Oops! That page can’t be found.”

Hi Folks!

When I want to save options.php even without changes, a 403 error appears.
Disabled all plugins, renamed the htaccess, but the error remains.

Any ideas?

Hi. I have a couple of recently installed WordPress sites on a HostGator hosting. All have Jetpack activated and have a secure certificate. For some reason, I have multiple issues when attemping to do anything on the admin page and I’m not sure if is tied with some specific setting or not:

On the login page, after I click the access button, it just redirects me to the very same page without login. It only works if I enter with Jetpack.
I can’t update nor install a plugin/theme in the admin—It just retrieve the error ?update failed?.
When I attemp to save any setting on any admin page, it redirects to the options.php page without saving any changes.

Strangely, nothing of that happens if I enter to the site using mobile and with its own 4G signal, even with the very same user accounts.

wp-admin/options.php content not shown up

I am website administrator. I am trying to change some data in wp-admin/options.php. I tried to access the page by tying my web domain/wp-admin/options.php, the page loaded for a while. But when page load was finished, no content was shown up. Only “Warning: This page allows direct access to your site settings. You can break things here. Please be cautious!” and Save Changes button were shown. Why is that? Can you help?

Backend Blank Pages – Issues with options.php?

Hi WP Community,

I’m having some issues on the backend of my site.

Every time I try to perform an action such as resave permalinks, activate a plugin or update its settings, I get a blank screen with options.php in the URL.

This issue started today or at least I noticed it today.

The actions I performed today:
– I activated .htaccess 301 redirects from inside Really Simple SSL
– deactivated redirects from Rank Math

Then I cleared the cache, tried to resave permalinks just to refresh the htaccess file and I got the blank screen with the url https://parmsyoga.com/wp-admin/options.php.

So I went back turned off the .htaccess 301 redirects, hit save settings, got the white screen with the same url.

I checked my htaccess file from the file manager, it doesn’t have the SSL code in it..

I cleared the cache, reactivated a plugin — froze at a longer URL but still containing options in it.

Then I reloaded my admin dashboard, saw that the plug in was active and went in to adjust the settings — tried to save, got served this white screen again.

I just went back in to take a look at the plugin settings and the settings are updated with the most recent changes I made.

Went back in to resave permalinks and I still get the white screen with this URL this time: https://parmsyoga.com/wp-admin/options-permalink.php.

I did make a manual change to my .htaccess file recently:
I added: Options -Indexes at the end of the file and left a blank line after that.

All in all, I have no idea what’s going on.

Save update(s) regularly ends up in options.php

Hi! I am test driving this plug-in on non accessible site.
When saving settings or any other update within the dashboard I regularly end up on locattion myurl/wp-admin/options.php and the update(s) are not saved.
This happens on both Save buttons.
Any idea what is going wrong?

Plugin doesn’t save settings!

I’ve changed the settings multiple times but when I press on save, all the checkboxes are unchecked and the text boxes are empty.

i need to access options.php to change woocommerce_force_ssl_checkout but when i try to access website/wp-admin/options.php i receive a 500 error.
