how to prevent duplicate Opportunities?

First-time user here just setting up the plugin. So far so good with field mapping. Two feeds on our Donation Form, one for Contact (Donor Contact), one for Opportunity (Single Donation), and I learned to set Primary Contact on Opp with ‘Donor Contact’.

I’m clicking submit on our web form only once, and I’m creating duplicate Opportunities. Help?

Excellent for Running Contest

I was looking for a simple, yet complete solution to run online contests. Besides getting users data, I needed it to allow bonus entries for different actions, e.g., following on social media. To get this done, I search for 2 months and tried several solutions. I found Woorise, tried the free version and decided this was the way to go.

Besides my initial requirements, Woorise is the best solution of those of us that use WordPress as it’s a native solution. Also, the software will run and pick the winners, instantaneously or you can do it manually. You can also set different rules to allow people to sign up. Plus, you can give users more options to win, not only when they follow you on social media, bur for example, if they visit a certain website or even your Podcast.

As you might expect, you can tweak the designs to fit your needs. And a great plus, is that you add your own translation, so basically, you’ll be able to run Woorise on any given language.

Hi, I want to register volunteers but not tied to any opportunity, later create an opportunity or several opportunities and registered volunteers can accept or decline the opportunities, also send an email to registered volunteers when I create one opportunity.

Single event, multiple shifts

I have a single event at which our group is staffing a tent. We have six one-hour shifts, and need a different number of people per shift.

As I understand how your plugin works, I would have to create a separate fixed opportunity for each shift, and they would all be listed one after the other in whatever page I entered the shortcode. Is that correct?

I saw your solution for the person that was asking for a table of opportunities, but I think that is a little beyond my skills at this point, and with the event two weeks away, I don’t have time to work it out.

If you could, let me know if I’m on the right track, and if there are any plans for building this kind of functionality into the plugin. In the meantime, thanks for the work you’ve put into this so far, and for making it available at no cost for no-budget non-profits like us!

Opportunities list shows on sign up page

All opportunities (flex and one-time) show in a list at the bottom of each sign up form. There is no spacing between the bottom of the form and the start of the list. It also pushes the sign up button far to the right.

If the list is WAI, (although we are told in the FAQ to not put flex and one time opportunities on the same page) then there needs to be some separation between the list and the form. A line, a header with “Other Opportunities” or other indicator text would be useful. It may even be better to allow users to show, or not, the list on the sign up page.

Change hover color on "Read More" button

The ‘read more’ button under Volunteer Opportunities is a red blank. No letters show through until you mouse over it.

How do I change it to white letters on red background?
