I’m in the process of migrating my site to a new domain. I’ve backed up the original site and entered the WPvivid Key details. After clicking the “Clone then Transfer” button on the original site, I get “Transfer failed, cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 30001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received”. How can I fix this? The new site is ready to receive the files from the originating site.

After a few days of use, the plugin only says: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 out of 0 bytes received.
The images are not properly optimized. And no one replies. I think it’s a plugin for the paid users and the free is a hoax.

For last few days, specifically saying 3 weeks, images are not being optimized. It always shows this: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 out of 0 bytes received. Please help with this issue. I have tried again and again but nothing happened.

I visited a page on my site today and the following warning appeared at the top:
“Connection timed out after 5001 millisecondsOperation timed out after 0 milliseconds with 0 out of 0 bytes receivedConnection timed out after 5001 millisecondsFailed to connect to www.yummly.com port 443: Connection timed out”

It disappeared after I refreshed the page though, but I’m concerned, especially the site it was trying to connect to which I highlighted in bold.

Can anybody enlighten me on what may have caused this, is there anything to be worried about?

Error when trying to optimize manually a custom dir

Hi there!

I have an error when I’m trying to optimize a custom directory. I have added into advanced settings the extra directory:
/var/www/html/wp-content/uploads/bfi_thumb

Then, when I try to optimize it, I get the error: Operation timed out, you may need to increase the max_execution_time for PHP. The error is showed right after click the scan and optimize button.

I have tried to increase the max_execution_time using the .htaccess and wp-config.php but nothing works.

Do you have any idea of how to solve it?

Hosting on GoDaddy, IIS/7.0. I’m running the free version of the plugin, version 3.1.4

I set up a backup job last week, and it’s been running as scheduled. Ran it manually three times earlier today before making some updates to WP / my hosting situation.

I changed from Windows Classic to Web Hosting, and was able to run the backup.

Then I updated PHP to 5.4.16, and verified that the site still works.

I just tried to run another backup job to update to WP 4.3, and I’m getting this error:

When I run “Check installation”, I see this next to “Server self connect:”

Error: Operation Timed Out when trying to run Backwpup

I am unable to backup after upgrading to latest version.
I deleted and reinstalled the plugin but am still getting the same error message:
The HTTP response test get an error “Operation timed out after 15000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received”
when I try to run my backup jobs (I have 2).

The backup was working previously.

Greetings,

I have from 2 weeks now the error: Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed.

I have tried everything!

I have:

1. disabled all the plugins

2. deleted all the plugins

3. installed wordpress around 10 times

4. activated Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve (one of the default WordPress themes) and many othe themes

5. XMLRPC file working well

6. i do not have a SSL certificate, still i tried to modify the wp-config.php with “define( ‘JETPACK_CLIENT__HTTPS’, ‘NEVER’ );” and no luck

7. tried with the plugin Core Control and and activated “HTTP Access Module” and turned off cURL by pressing “Disable Transport Method”. tried too with PHP Streams and PHP fsockopen(), just in case….but no luck.

8. i have modified php.ini –> max_execution_time = 300 … still nothing

9. talked with the Godaddy host to modify PHP_FCGI_CHILDREN to 2 and they say that i am on Linux and many others people use JetPack without PHP_FCGI_CHILDREN to be set at 2 or higher.

10. there is no change to my server, all the settings on my server are ok. Talked with them many times.

11. Gived some raw server acces logs to a JetPack Support Member after i tried to connect JetPack (for generating the error log) to check any issues …. still nothing…..

Form Does Not Appear
