I believe I may have found a bug and would love your advice. I have tested this on several of our sites and have found this reproducible 100% of the time using both free and Pro versions of MetaSlider. This is specific to FlexSlider. In all cases no Theme has been selected for the Slideshows. I have followed the Troubleshooting guide and found this situation exists even in environments with no plugins and any default WordPress theme active.
This bug occurs when:
- Accessing Metaslider > Slideshow with FlexSlider
- in the General [tab] of an Image Slide
- Caption with Manual Entry selected
- Adding text inside the caption content editor box
- Using the Insert / Edit link function on a selection of text
- Insert / Edit link settings select the Open link in… drop-down selection option to New window
The open link in New Window setting is not working and/or carrying over to the front-end output of the slide captions when following the above process.
In the back-end we see:

The target=”_blank” is not coming through on the front-end output relative to the back-end settings.

I don’t want to use the icon sets that are included with responsive menu because they slow the site down – there’s a lot of extra loading for just the one icon.

How can I get this to display in the menu item?
Currently I will copy article contents from MS Word to WordPress. If the contents contain a hyperlink, then the hyperlink will also be copied into WordPress successfully. However, the default option for the hyperlink is disable “Open in New Window” option. Is there a way to make the default to enable, so that I do not have to set the option manually, after copying the contents?
]]>So on the checkout page the checkout button “woocommerce_checkout_place_order” opens in the same windows when clicked, I want that it opens in a new tab because the customer is redirected to a payment provider, so my site doesn’t get closed and he can pay in a new tab.

]]>Ik heb het volgende probleem met het element POSTS van Elementor Pro.
In de settings van het POSTS element kies ik onder layout–> Open in New Window
de optie NEE en toch wordt wanneer ik op een van de berichten op de posts pagina klik het bericht in een nieuw tabblad getoond.
Nu wil ik dat als ik op titel, plaatje, lees verder van een bericht van de postspagina (dus mijn blog) klik deze op dezelfde pagina wordt geopend. Dus in CSS is dat op te lossen met target=”_blank” en target=”_self”
Ik wil dat het zoals met target=”_self” gaat werken.
Kan iemand mij hierbij helpen. Is shit dat zo’n klein iets zo’n groot probleem voor mijn site kan worden. ]]>

I use it on my business website, and have just purchased it for a personal one as well, however I can’t get the toggle to work. I’m sure it must be a simple setting, because it was working at one point then stopped. Could it have something to do with having activated the trial version?
I need them to open the faqs in accordion fashion on the same page, not open in a new window. When I load a default theme, they do seem to do this, but still redirect to a new window. Could you please help me figure it out?
