I cannot seem to get any of the functions such as memcache, opcache, redis or varnish to work using resellerpanel for hosting.

Can any here help or recommend step to pass along to the my hosting to get w3 working again.

opcode options for minify cache method

I’ve just installed W3T and am walking my way through the configuration. I notice in the “Minify” section of general settings, under “minify cache method” there are 4 different opcode options in the dropdown listed under “Dedicated/Virtual Server” (I’m on AWS).

These are all grayed out…but when I do the compatibility check it says “Opcodecache:installed (OPCache).

What do I need to do to make those opcode cache methods available for minify?

Wonderful tool to view your opCache statistics and settings right from your wordpress dashboard. Great time saver, especially when troubleshooting.

Also, one reviewer said it didn’t work in PHP7, however as others have noted it does indeed work fine. I’m running PHP7.2 and it works great.

Cant select any opcode cache under “opcode” but can choose it eslwhere

We are running varnish and after few updates ago under “opcode” setting we can’t choose any option just “Not available”. Everywhere else in the system we can select “opcode: alternative php cache APC/APCu”. Is there some simple solution to this what we just cant figure out. Our hosting provider has checked and double checked our opcode settings. thanks

After upgrading to W3TC 0.9.5 today I notice that Opcode cache (Zend Opcache in my case) is enabled by default and cannot be disabled.

What is the rationale behind this choice?

In my setup I only enable Page cache and Browser cache usually.

Am running a dedicated server which I have the capability to install and uninstall any application I wanted to.

Going through this plugin general settings, it has options that listed as follows;

opcode: Alternative PHP Cache (APC)
opcode: eAccelerator
opcode: XCache
opcode: WinCache

Which of the above is best for maximum performance recommended by this plugin?

Linux
