We are importing events from Eventbrite. Any event with a Location of “Online event” is being imported with no venue. Is there a way to ensure all imported events have a venue specified or fall back to a default venue if empty?
Thanks, Kym.
]]>when I use the online event (location is url), it isn’t visible on the single event page or in the lists. I found in older support requests, that I have to change the #_EVENTNAME, #_EVENTADDRESS to #_EVENTLOCATION. But when I do this, just the urls for online events are visible and the physical addresses aren’t. Do you have meanwhile a solution?
Thanks

I want to post inhouse courses which are to take place at the customers location. The “Online event” checkbox is deactivated, the location is empty or named as “Anywhere”… But, nevertheless, the frontend view displays the GPS icon with “Online Event”.
How can this be fixed… Please as simple as possible, cause I’m a very poor coder.
Thanks!

This is a minor release that should be smooth sailing when updating. That said, it’s always a good idea to?backup?your site and test changes in a?development environment?before installing this on your live site, as you would with any other WordPress update.

My website doesn’t require Online Event (It is always “No”). How do I make “No” selection default via coding and hide it in the “Post an Event” page at front end and backend.
Also, I want to keep “Time Format” field as “12 hours” as default and does not want to show to the user when he is creating an event at the front end.
Any help?
]]>I am creating a website that will host mentorship webinars. So there will a mentor who is talking (through audio) to maybe 10 to 30 mentees. The participants can send questions through a chat functionality. Is this possible on wordpress?
]]>I’m having an event that takes place online. This is what happens when I edit the event:
– I unchecked “Show map”. Now there’s a big grey field. Doesn’t look nice. Would be better to just show nothing.
– It’s impossible to hide the Google Maps link
– I’d like to add a link to the website which is in the case of an online event the venue’s address. Unfortunately, the “website” field seems to have a bug: the link is shown in HTML, but is not clickable.
– a custom field would be great. Something were you can write specific stuff about the venue like: “smokers bar, only adults”, “no registration required”, “use the backdoor” etc.
Thanks!
