Execute custom php in template and theme

Used exec-php for years to execute php anywhere and everywhere, in my site, including from within the themes and page templates. Exec-php is extinct (developer hasn’t updated the plugin in years), and lately, causes fatal error when activated and will not load. Custom ShortCode Creator is also abandoned by developer and no longer executes php in its shortcodes.

Need to still be able to freely execute php from inside theme and page template(s). Allow php and Insert_php works for pages and widgets but not for theme and templates.

Looking for plugin or way to be able to execute php anywhere in themes and templates as well as pages.

Newly created Posts page not working properly

We purchased a business and with it came this www.remarpro.com website. (www.sailwanaka.co.nz) I’ve inherited some old posts and code that are screwing up a new blog post page I’m trying to create.
Any ideas on how to start anew, and delete the old code that’s showing up? I’m not good at writing html, so please explain an easy fix or tell me I need to get professional help. (Despite what my wife says)

1. When I try to create a new post, it doesn’t show up.
2. This old heading and text, and broken link show up:
“Lake Wanaka Yacht Charters, New Zealand”

PS: I’ve not yet upgraded to 4.7 because I’ve not yet figured out how to do a backup.

I have a problem with this plugin

When the plugin is active and I go to update a post the text in the post disappears. I have tried pasting the revision of said post into the visual editor and then switching to the text editor. What I get then is table HTML inserted into the post by some means. It is your plugin that is doing this.

I don’t know how, I don’t know why, and I have no idea what to look for, but the plugin is malfunctioning. You know the plugin’s code better than I ever will and you need to fix it.

old url won’t translate to WP

I am closing an old, dear, heavily followed website due to brain injury. I simply want to change 4 pages to indicate that they will no longer be serviced.
they end in .htm
WP will not allow that. it makes – instead. that would be ok except that when people type in the old url, they still get my old pages instead of the new announcement. they don’t know to ‘drop’ .htm so that they are redirected.
i’m stumped. and losing brain power by the day.
anyone?
somehow I need the original url’s to be used, which includes .htm
help?

Select Pages Reverted to Old Version

My website has reverted my home page to a version from over a year ago. I did not touch anything. My other pages did not revert to old versions, but they are also off in some ways (pictures missing, picture size changed…). I’ve tried updating everything, nothing works. What could have caused this? My theme? Is there an easy reverse?
Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Old Youtube embedded codes broken after update to 3.9.2.

Hi there,

After each update of WordPress embedded Youtube videos aren’t showing up in all my posts containing old Youtube embed codes. The code is there in the html-editor but not showing up in the post. Does anybody please know
how can I solve this issue without having to replace the old code by an iframe code in many old posts? Thanks a lot for your help with this!

[Plugin: Smart YouTube PRO] Video template default on exerpt

When I place my own template in the disp_template field, it gets wrapped around the image/video. However, in the excerpt, there is still a hard coded version of the default wrapped around that.
This makes responsive design where the left align is changed to noalign impossible.
The fix is to remove the extra code. Looks like leftovers from a previous version as the supporting logic above is commented out.
