Social Previews WILL NOT work using this plugin

This is a great plugin for people that do not wish to share the photos uploaded via the front end uploader on Social Networking Sites such as FB, Twitter and Tumblr. The plugin does NOT support OG images. I have been in contact with the support for a few weeks now and they admitted what I already knew that the error was the plugin. I waited about 3 weeks for the fix and then was told they figured it out and that a fix would be installed…it ended up breaking my site while they were working on it and I had to disable the plugin and the fix in order to get my site back up. They then decide to send me a message saying that it was my fault it wasn’t working and to contact YOAST! My Yoast plugin works PERFECT. OG images and previews work PERFECTLY when uploaded via the dashboard.
Like I said, This is a great plugin IF you don’t need to share the images online. For me, That function is EVERYTHING and I will now need to find a whole new plugin to use and hope that I can at least get a refund for all the time wasted here. If you decide to trust them that this works I encourage you to ask for proof before purchase. I gave the low rating because all the time that was wasted
In short, This plugin works but if you need to share a photo to social media it will not show…it will show your site logo or default image and NEVER the photo that was uploaded to your site. The creators are NOT able to fix this issue and instead blames in on yoast even though the plugin fails with or without yoast installed lol

Changing og image size with a script

I have a catalog website eCommerce store with over 2500 products. The default image size is 1500X1500 and this is what gets shared as an og image on Facebook. When sharing the image gets cropped and does not look good.

Is there a script I can use to share the og images at 1200X630

Multiple og:image tags for WooCommerce Products showing empty image on WhatsApp

While the link share is loading images correctly on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc., the image is not loading on WhatsApp on pages where multiple og:image tags are present.

Facebook sharing debugger works fine too!

Not sure if this is a new development, but wondering if there was a way to fix it since WhatsApp link sharing is core to our business.

” but each page needs to have a unique OG image, this plugin have autogenerated OG image for each page? Or i can use only 1 image for all site pages.

We are using 3 custom post types (using Toolset) on our site. And need to be able to insert specific OG images for each archive page of each CPT.

Is this possible with the SEO Framework? If not, is it a planned feature release and do you have an ETA?

I have been having problems with a Content Cards WordPress plugin that works with OGP and was trying to figure out why it wasn’t grabbing the (as listed it the list below) the first, main image from my posts, but rather the last image that is nothing but my signature image.

AND when I share this post on Facebook it again does not grab the correct image at all, but rather is grabbing the mushroom, pickle, and other images that I do not want nor need to represent the article on social media.

I have gone into the Yoast SEO area on the backend of this post and specifically entered the https://margeburkell.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Low-Carb-Thanksgiving-Recipes.jpg URL for both Facebook and Twitter in the Social tab (see below) but if you enter the post’s URL into Facebook it still will not grag the correct image.

Many of my posts are very image heavy. This one has approximately 5 dozen plus. Why it selects which images to throw into the meta description is beyond me or my expertise so I am asking you…
Can you please tell me how I might fix this or at the very least how I can manually (or via code) edit the og:image in the meta description of this and any posts so that it is relaying the correct information to Facebook and to the Content-Cards WordPress plugin?

og:images are not showing on Facebook Posts

Hi,

We use WordPress SEO by Yoast at out site spotlight.usheru.com and we are having an issue where our og:images are not shown in Facebook Posts.

Facebook Open Graph Object Debugger is not reporting any error, and it can find the og:images properly.

For some posts it shows them in the og:image section, but not in the section “When shared, this is what will be included”. For example:

Other posts the og:images are just shown blank, but when we click on them we can see the actual image. For example:

Pleas advice.
