]]>The confusion I have is I have three other identical cloned sites that are branded for different universities and they NEVER disconnect. All the theme and plugin setup is the same, but this is the only site that disconnects. I’m on WP Version 5.2.1
I turned on logging right before submitting this ticket so I don’t have any logging data to provide showing a disconnect. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
]]>Sinde May 26th, every time I post a new article I get a warning from Instagram, asking if that was me trying to publish the picture. Even after I confirm that it was me, when I try to republish the article, or even publish a new one, I get the same message from Instagram again, ainda again, and no picturer is posted.
Please help.
]]>1. I posted a new podcast today at 12 PM. It goes to our “big catches all the shows” feed AND to the individual feed for the show. (using categories via Powerpress)
2. The podcast shows up just fine in the individual feed in the podcatchers, but it does NOT for the “big feed.”
3. I’ve checked the feed. In all of my browsers, the episode in question shows up in all of the relevant feeds. The mp3 itself plays just fine, too.
4. I’ve checked to make sure the feed I submitted for iTunes, Stitcher, Gpodder, etc. is correct. It is.
5. I’ve run it through the iTunes validator gizmo I’ve seen shared AND the other major cast validator. I do get a notice that the feed is quite large, but this has not been a problem. The feed otherwise works.
Basically, I’m at a loss. I don’t know why the podcatchers can’t catch this new episode given that it’s *there* and works just fine in the other feed. I’m not sure if I’m just an idiot and I’m missing something, if the issue is on the other end (the catchers), or what. I thought it MIGHT be an SSL thing, since we had to update our security about two weeks ago. However, we released at least two episodes after that change which presented no issues.
Any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated. If you need any additional info, please let me know.
Here is the feed with the issue: https://skiffyandfanty.com/category/podcasts/feed/podcast/
This is the individual feed (which has no apparent issue): https://skiffyandfanty.com/category/podcasts/torturecinema/feed/
Thanks,
SMD
Posting this here also as i haven’t received a reply here April 1, 2018 at 12:08 pm:

So i just updated to the latest version and since last night, i have tons of post and the query/timeline is full but only 1 post got posted. If i look at the query and note the time of the next post, that time comes and goes but the post doesn’t get posted but the post stays in the query and is now showing scheduled for the next posting time. And so on and so on.
I’ve checked and rechecked all settings. Cron works. Even cleared the query but same thing. Logs show nothing wrong.
Ok it gets weirder. Time now is 11:31am and the post was scheduled for 11:28am and this just happened:
[Skipped]- Already Autoposted (on 2018-04-02 15:29:04)

Plus i set it to 1 minute for a test and it did the same for any new post that has never been posted before.
Well getting tired of waiting so tried everything possible. Last effort before i roll back or ditch the plugin.
Removed all SNAP metainfo in the post – DONE
Clear Query – DONE
Remove all pending SNAP Cron tasks – DONE
Clear Cache – DONE
Delete all SNAP Data – DONE
Now starting fresh, lets see where this goes.
**Update: Well even after all that, same shit.
]]>I’ve searched for solutions to get the plugin posting automatically as it should but to no avail.
I have tried to select remote check to see if this solves the issue but it still doesn’t work.
The log tells me I need to whitelist an IP address to enable remote checking. How do I whitelist an IP address?
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers
]]>When testing, if someone leaves a review with just text, it posts fine. If a review is attempted with an image uploaded, it directs to a 404 error for wp-comments-post.php and the review doesn’t post.
I’ve tried other plugins that allow photo attachments and they all do the same thing, so it’s not exclusive to the plugin that I am using. The error only happens when we attempt to upload a photo with the review. The error happens with a regular user as well as an admin, although once I got a photo/review to post under my admin name but I’m not sure why it worked that one time.
I’ve tried disabling plugins, changing themes, different image sizes and more. I’ve tried it in Safari, Firefox and Chrome….nothing works.
I’ve googled some fixes in regards to a 404 error with the wp-comments-post.php page and they’re all in regards to regular comments and editing the .htaccess file. My .htaccess file currently has the following within it:
#Please Note: Optimized WordPress is a Managed Platform offering, and this file has been configured to work under this managed platform. Changes to this file are not recommended and may impact our ability to provide support for your WordPress site.##
# BEGIN WPSuperCache
# END WPSuperCache
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress
On Google, for the regular comments, people are suggesting to add this to the .htaccess file and I tried, but it does nothing for me:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_METHOD} POST
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} .wp-comments-post\.php*
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !.*EXAMPLE.com.* [OR]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^$
RewriteRule (.*) https://%{REMOTE_ADDR}/$ [R=301,L]
I tried adding it before the “ifmodule”, after, within it and nothing (EXAMPLE.com was changed to my domain name, so I know that wasn’t the error)
I’ve tried adding the plugin User Role Editor to make sure the ability to upload files is allowed by users that are a “customer”….doesn’t work.
I feel like it has something to do with permissions to be able to upload files, but if that is the case I am not sure why it doesn’t work for the admin either.
I’ve been trying things for weeks and nothing works. Its annoying because I know reviews with photos play a big role in promoting sales and I cant get it to work and its frustrating/embarrassing to have people email saying they’re trying to leave a review and they cant leave one because they’re trying to add a photo. I feel like if they don’t add photos, then it just looks like I’m creating accounts and adding my own reviews and I don’t want that. Right now everyone that would be leaving reviews, I sent them the items free specifically for them to test and leave reviews WITH photos. Right now they’re just posting reviews on Instagram, but I’ve had my Instagram account shut down before (not sure why because I never did anything wrong) so I don’t want to put my apples in someone else’s basket, I’d rather them be on a platform I can control but right now its not really working out how I wanted.
I don’t really have the money to hire a developer to troubleshoot. I’m pretty good at the basics and troubleshooting myself and fixing stuff based on context, googling and understanding the basics of PHP, but it seems figuring this out is beyond me. Can anyone help?

Any help would be appreciated.
