I’ve tested that the site works using \\localhost on the server. When I go the client on the same network and connect to the IP/Domain name DNS resolves the name and shows me some of the content on the site. But it doesn’t display correctly, missing out all the images and only displaying text.

So I tried to map to the server to the wp-admin folder SVRNAME/WP-Admin but it wouldn’t connect.

Any suggesting on how to get to the bottom of this?

I also just tried going back to version 1.1.0 and that doesn’t work anymore either. Does anyone know of any other really good Instagram plugins as this one was the best one I had found??

I have had a sudden issue with WP 3.9.1 stopping displaying images in posts, media libary and the default header image in the Graphene theme on my site https://how-to-lower-your-blood-pressure.com. Images are shown in widgets. The image URLs are shown in the posts, it is just that they are not being displayed.

I do not have any plugins on this site that control how and where images are stored or displayed. Nor hasve I changed any of the theme’s settings.

I have searched this forum and the Internet for a solution and I have tried almost all of the suggestions. I have not tinkered with the HTACCESS file as I do not know where it is, and if i did, I would not know what to do. Nor have I tinkered with any CSS files for the same reasons.

I have done the following, but to no avaial:

1. I have changed the file permissions to 777, which did not work, so I restored the 755 values;
2. I deactivated all plugins – did not work;
3. I deleted the post I was making that first made me aware of the issue – it made no difference;
4. I am using the default upload directory and upoads are divided into yearly etc. folders I have unticked this box on the dashboard, which made no difference, so I ticked it again.
5. I unticked the thumbnail size box (Dashboard>settings>media), which made no difference, so I ticked it again;
6. I reinstalled WP 3.9.1 using the reistall button on the dashboard. It made no difference;
7. I changed the theme from Graphene to Twenty Thirteen. That made did not fix the problem although it did confirm that it was not related to the theme, so I changed back to Graphene;
8. My ISP say they have not made any changes to the server and pointed out that I have other sites on the same server each using WP 3.9.1 and which have the same file permissions and are working fine;
9. I deleted the themes I am not using, just in case there is a conflict. That did not work;
10. Although it should have no bearing on the issue, I deleted all users other than the administrator. They could not make any posts or comment anyway and were just spammers. As expected that had no effect.
11. I cleared my browser’s cache several times. I am using Thunderbird. That made no differnce either.

This is not a problem that is unique to me. Does any one have a solution to this problem that I have not tried?

I recently installed the “Core Minimalist Photography Theme” and wanted to make it easily usable on mobile devices. This lead me to install the “WPtouch Mobile Plugin” (Free version, not pro) which seemed to be doing a great job until I visited my website (On my iphone) and clicked on my pages and the gallery images did not appear. The only thing that is displayed is the text I have in the description of the pages. Keep in mind that everything is displayed when viewed on a desktop but when viewed on a mobile device, the images in the pages do not appear. If someone could please help me resolve this issue I would really appreciate it!

I have been updating all the plugins regularly without checking the site but have recently noticed that we have broken images on our pages. Im now sure why this is occuring but it looks as though maybe a > (closed bracket) is missing from the php file which thus outputs broken html, leading to broken images.

On our site www.MathyShootsPeople.com, if you go to a full wedding post (not a teaser) we’ve put a “read more” button after the third image to allow the page to load faster unless you want to see the full post. When trying to post a new blog today, I realized that nothing further than the third image is showing up on any of the posts that use the “read more” button. Well, all the images appear to be there but are a pixel big. You can right click on them and display them but for some reason they will not display larger on the blog. I even went under one of the weddings and removed the read more button but the same thing is still happening even after I updated.

I’ve called BlueHost and they said to try and see if I could talk with anyone through wordpress to tell me what is going on.

I posted my first recipe, and when checking on the browsers, I noticed that the image in my firs post doesnt show – although it does in Google Chrome and on my husbands MAC.

Pleae help … I also noticed that it DID appear earlier in the day, but then not. I think in between this time I may have upgraded WP.
