Where are the necessary and non-necessary tabs?

On sites where I installed this plugin before March 2021, there were two sub-items in the GDPR-cookie consent menu, that are not there anymore when I download the plugin on www.remarpro.com nowadays. The menu items are: ‘Necessary’ and ‘non-necessary’.

What I was using in this feature, was that scripts (like google tag manager) were only being loaded in the tag or just after the start of the tag, when a user consents to placing non-necessary cookies.

If this functionality still exists in the current version of the plugin, I would like to know where it moved to.

Also, what I found that the version number of the plugin was the same in both the pre-March version as well as the version available for download on www.remarpro.com now: Version 2.0.0. Though on the website (webtoffee.com) it says version 2.3.4 is the latest. What’s going on there?

Non-necessary not working

Hi!
I have been trying and trying, but non-necessary scripts (google analytics) are always loaded like plain/text, no matter whether they have been accepted or not, so they never work. I pasted them at non-necessary scripts. Any suggestion?

Plugin Not Working

I have an issue with this plugin. Even if I configure everything as suggested in the topics and FAQs, the plugin doesn’t display any script in the page source (after acceptation of non necessary cookies).

I tried different solutions, even deactivating the WPSuperCache plugin or deactivating/activating your GDPR plugin, but it doesn’t work.

Hi WebToffee, I tried to translate the texts necessary and non-necessary using Polylang Plugin, but i noticed this strings is not yet presents to translate. I check the code and i believe the error is on file /wp-content/plugins/cookie-law-info/public/views/cookie-law-info_popup_content.php in line 90.

Non necessary cookies script does’nt work !

Dear developers,

I just tried this out with a console.log() test message in the HEAD and BODY section for non-necessary cookies. I activate non-necessary cookies in admin panel and put them on disabled by default.
Even with the pop-up option AND an overlay, these messages are not executed (BEFORE clicking ACCEPT and also AFTER clicking ACCEPT and enable (visible in the javascript console of the browser). The same after reloading page. I check all these things by using console on different browser (firefox, safari, edge…) and i do not understand why.

Any idea ?

I not have any cache plugin for my website.

Bug: Checkbox necessary Aways enabled and non-necessary appear in Mobile Safari

Hello Webtoffee team, the checkboxes “necessary Aways enabled” and “non-necessary” appear in the footer of my page in Mobile Safari instead of showing the banner.

In GDPR Settings “Enable Non-necessary Cookie” is set to “No” and
Necessary Cookie Settings is empty.

I didn’t see this before so I assume it come with some recent update?

Using:

PHP 7.3.5, WP 5.2.1, GDPR 1.7.7, on iOS 12.3.1 Mobile Safari, WP_DEBUG is disabled.

Non-necessary cookies won’t launch after acceptance

Hi there!

I’m having a bit of trouble with the non-necessary cookies. They will not load after the acceptance and reload.

I have tried to delete and install the plugin again but it didn’t help.
Problems started on the 2nd of August.

Script for non necessary cookies

Hi again,

I’m having a heck of a time figuring out the script to put in the Non-necessary cookies settings. I saw a couple scripts in this forum (one was in an image) and tried them both in the header field in the settings page for the plugin, but neither worked. As I understand it, if I check Yes to “Enable non-necessary cookies”, then enter the script in the header, my site will not install the non-necessary cookies on a visitor’s browser unless they click “Accept” or “Agree” or whatever the button says, is that right?

I’ve entered all my cookies into the cookie audit and indicated if they were necessary or non-necessary, but either I have the script wrong or I entered them wrong…or both. Can you provide the proper script to use? Thanks so much.
