I get it was designed not to have sidebars and such, but blocking access to widget data feels like poor design choices were made.
It also lacks proper documentation. Limitations like the disabled widgets and only being able to use recent posts as a home (as opposed to a static page) should be informed somewhere.
]]>How to get widgets back?
I really want sidebars. And to be able to assign different ones to posts and pages as needed.
I was hired by a woman to oversee the website for her company, but when I got the login info for her website, I have zero options to edit anything for the site. I am able to login to the site with the wp-admin login, and when I click “visit site” it takes me there, however, in the Dashboard there are no widgets or anything below “Profile”. When i go to the page and am logged in, the top tool bar does not have any “Edit Page” option either.
I have never had this issue before and can’t find it in any forums. Could it be that the login she gave me does not have admin privileges? All I want to do is be able to update the site but that’s not an option.

Livemesh SiteOrigin Widgets does not show a single widget in the widget list, only its title name! Can’t drag and drop anything as there is nothing to drag from.
I use the Virtue Premium Theme
Re-installation of Livemesh’s plugin did not help. Plugin is of course activated.
Other widgets from Site Origin or the related bundles do work, however!
Please have a look
Will update stars when things going to work
UPDATE
Everything is working. Forgot there was a second activation required which targets the plugins individually.
Updated the stars to 5/5
Everything is working now as it should

]]>Hi, two days ago, the homepage changed on this blog: https://www.bonsaimotorworld.com
Before, under the slider, listed a summary of recent posts and there were about 5 widgets on the left sidebar. Now this is all gone.
I can still see these widgets under Dashboard-> Appearance-> Widgets. My posts are still accessible by using the menu on the blog or clicking the links in the slider.
I tried playing around with in Settings-> Reader, but no luck. I have also searched the forums for answers, but can’t seem to fix it. Please help me to get the homepage back as before?
The blog I need help with is bonsaimotorworld.com. It is an adventure (organic) theme.
]]>Is there anyway to set the homepage to full width, no pointing to content pages or posts and no widgets; but keep that option on the interior pages?
Please help, I’m at my wits end.
