Emoji in Tweets breaks widget

Hello,

When Twitter Widget Pro v2.8.0 tries to display a Twitter Feed containing a tweet which contains an Emoji, the only display is: “No Tweets Available”.

If Emoji are used in the second most recent tweet (but not the most recent), still only the error message is displayed. If I reduce the number of tweets to display down to 1, then that one tweet is successfully displayed.

I remember having this problem in the past. Didn’t it get resolved?

recently started displaying "No Tweets Available"

Recently noticed that this widget is now displaying “No Tweets Available” on one of my blogs but working fine on another. Both are running WordPress 4.1.1 and twitter widget pro 2.6.0. One is trying to display the feed from networkmidlands (not working) and the other trevorwood (working)

so, I’m guessing, it’s not a problem with the WordPress version – it is also failing on a 4.0.1 version

I’ve tried reauthorising the plugin – that doesn’t seem to have made any difference

any ideas anyone?

No tweets available until you select a new number of tweets to display

No Tweets Available is shown on the front end until I select a different number of tweets to show in the back and then I can see the feed… UNTIL I reload the page adn then back to No Tweets Available. But when I select a different number, tweets are back but then if I go back to any of the previous numbers, I’m out of luck.

No Tweets Available – Logic bug

It appears that there is a (missing) conditional logic from this widget. We noticed on our site. When you opt to hide @replies (could affect other options but never tested it), They still count toward the “Number of items to display”.

SO for example, if you have set it to display your last tweet only(1), and you hide @replies, the widget will display “No tweets available” IF the last tweet was an @reply.

Seems like you should still display the most recent tweet(s), excluding @replies.

[Plugin: Twitter Widget Pro] No Tweets Available Message (on a site with little traffic)

Hi, I’m quite new to wordpress, i’ve recently updated to 3.4.2 and just found that my twitter feed isn’t working anymore, i’m getting a “No Tweets Available” Message on my widget (bottom right on https://www.markseabridge.com/).

The same seems to happen if I switch back to the feed widget built into my theme.

From what i’ve read in the forum from other people getting this issue I can’t think that its a hosting or traffic issue as its a personal portfolio website and I don’t share the domain.

Any help would be much appreciated.
