I have a site with thousands of tags (3.000) and the plugin failed.

I think the plugin database overload in these cases, having to write a lot of data “rewrite_rules” on the table “wp_options”.

Hello everyone and thanks for reading.

I am currently just trying to create a new page on my website. I can create the page and publish it but no tab appears for people to actually get into the page. I was under the assumption that when you create a new page a tab will follow.

Can anyone help?

WP-recaptcha and Contact Form 7 – No tag in contact form

I have been using Contact Form 7 for a while but the really simple captcha is not catching as much spam as it needed to. So I tried to install and use WP-recaptcha but cannot get it to add the tag to the contact form template. The droplist for tags only includes captcha not the reCaptcha that it should.

Everything seems to have been installed OK. I got the typical message about obtaining the keys and that worked fine. It also seems to be working well for normal comments, just not for the contact form.

Problem importing posts from wp.com to wp.org

I am experiencing something weird when moving from WP.COM to my self hosted WP.ORG.

I have generated the export file from my blog (it has about 3.5MB) and have then installed the WP importer plug-in and uploaded the file.

Everything is imported fine, however the posts are not linked to the tags or categories. It is like every imported post was set to the “uncategorized” category with no tags at all.

I can indeed see that the categories and tags were saved correctly. They are all there, but they have no post linked to them.

I have 48 categories and 1000+ tags and 174 posts.

No error is shown.

Weird is that I tried the same thing on another host with the same WP 3.0.1 I was testing and everything went fine. The problem is that the host was not good and I changed.

Do you know what can be causing this behavior of setting all categories to “Uncategorized”? Seems that the tags and categories are being ignored by the importer.

Upgrade to WP3 adds “No Tag” to my template

I ugraded my site to WP3.0.
Now, on Google Chrome, at the end of each post, it shows “No Tag”. If you use this browser you can see it on www.okey.ro.
I don’t see this message on Firefox or Internet Explorer.

The tags are set ok on each post.

This sentence shows on most of the themes I tested.

Can’t find where the code is located, there is no “No Tag” on template itself.

I activated post by Email and added the footer and after I email and refresh the website I get the post in 15 mins.. A bit late but I get only the heading – what I write in the subject line but I am not getting the one in the body, the message. Please tell me where I am going wrong. More over is it possible to add tags through email.

Too late to receive the post in website
Only subject, no body
How to add tags in the email message.

If some one has a complete documentation that is related to my problem please let me know the link.

How to find untagged posts

I’ve only recently started to use tagging, and have a lot of untagged posts (7 years worth, 1300+ posts). I would like to be able to list them all in Edit Posts view (so that I can add tags to them), in the same way that I can list posts with the category Uncategorized. Is there a way of doing this?

I have a problem which is quite similar to:

but I can’t sort it out

I am using pretty-permalinks, and I run wordpress in directory ‘site’ but the index.php is in the root.
I have a tag-cloud it displays, but when you click a tag you get a 404.
If I select standard permalinks the tag refers to the archive.php, but still no posts display…
