]]>I have been running the batch and seeing a few things I don’t understand.
#1 First – thousands of files have run so far, but only a very small percent have actually optimized. Most say “No Savings”.
In advanced, settings are default on Level “2”.
#2 In Advanced Settings, where the Folders to optimize field allows you to define a folder, one path per line – after filling this out (and trying to test run it by adding only a few folders) I see that the batch seems to completely ignore this WAS filled out – and when running the batch, goes directly to the entire scope of all files on the site (or seemingly so)
Wondering if I’ve overlooked something, or something is off.
Google reports I should optimize images and tho I’ve compressed everything on my site in Photoshop – I suspected they’d return at least be a LITTLE more compressed?
I backed it all up too in case I didn’t like the results but didn’t expect the plugin would skip SO MANY files and not compress them at all. (which in turn isn’t changing page speed results by more than 1 point for that subject)

]]>From what I can see everything installs correctly. I get no error messages… but when I run BulkOptimize it just report this:
Optimized image: 2014/02/v?ggtidningen-page-001.jpg
Full size – No savings
v?ggtidningen-page-001-150×150.jpg – No savings
v?ggtidningen-page-001-300×212.jpg – No savings
v?ggtidningen-page-001-1024×724.jpg – No savings
v?ggtidningen-page-001-940×150.jpg – No savings
Elapsed: 2.800 seconds
…for ALL images. And if I try to rerun some pictures are reported as “Previously optimized” although nothing was optimized in the last run.
I have tried this on hundreds of images, mostly jpegs. No savings at all. Can this really be correct? What am I doing wrong?

]]>Then if I may ask you something: I’ve been trying to optimize some images but while some *versions* of them (such as 980×400 or other sizes) got reduced, the main file (such as file.jpg) is reported as “no savings” and speedtest keeps on reporting it as reducible.
How can I fix that?
Thanks in advance,
Rob
