How can I get rid of the blank space?

Hey, I am loving your theme. How can I get rid of the blank space at the top of the template just below the header? I have no header Image instead I have a header mande from a gutenberg block – BUT there is an ugly gab between the top of the gutenberg block and the header. How can I get rid of that?

Problems with upgrade from 4.0.5 to 4.2.1

Hi,

I use the Classic Editor and a static homepage.
After saving the 4.0.5 version I updated to 4.2.1 and got homepage layout problems.
Then I uploaded the 4.0.5 version.
In the above link you see the not working 4.2.1 homepage.

And hier is the Working 4.0.5 homepage.

As you can see the header image is missing and the menu is disordered and white.

Do you know what could be the problem of this?

It would be great if you could help me.

Can't insert header image for a page via featured image

The Virtue (free) theme is lovely to work with but I can’t insert a header image for a page via featured image (I can do this very easily for a post). This is not the home page.
The name of the file used for the featured image does not appear anywhere in ‘view source’.

Hello. I created a child theme to make a few changes. I added the following CSS so that I could insert a smaller image for the header that wouldn’t resize too large:

.site-header{
max-width: 350px;
max-height: 68px;
padding: 0;
margin-bottom: 0;
margin-top: 0;
}

The trouble is that the header just shows a square outline (no image) at the left side when viewed on iphone screen. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Twenty Eleven template w/o header image?

My apologies if this info is ‘everywhere’ but I’ve been searching for two days:

I’m using the 20-11 theme, w/child theme css modifications.

I need a template (or how to have separate header.php files?) for the 20-11 page that does not have a header image and moves the text or images up into that space.

This is for a few pages for a narrative with text and images.
